Fiona went to work and Lip and Mandy were handling day-care as the rest of us ate our breakfast.

I sat next to Ian at the breakfast bar, sipping my coffee as I watched Jimmy staring at Ian with narrowed eyes, scanning over him. Ian noticed, "Not trying to look at my dick, are you?" she asked.

"I'm not," Jimmy shook his head quickly, "I'm not thinking about your dick...in my dad's mouth," he shuddered, "I'm not!"

Ian's forehead creased as he took a bite of toast, "Good, then don't," he stated, standing from his chair and walked up the stairs.

"Ian's dick was in your dad's mouth?" Carl puzzled when Ian had disappeared upstairs and I let out a snort at his question. "It's a figure of speech," Jimmy lied, "It's like saying, 'none of your business...you're dicks in my dad's mouth, man!"

Carl screwed his face up in confusion, "Who says that?" he wondered. "Gay dudes," Jimmy shrugged and Carl's eyes widened. "Is Ian gay?"

"No, no," Jimmy thought for a moment, "It was euphemistic!" Carl looked baffled, "Is that what gay people like to do?" he asked.

"Carl, shut up and eat your breakfast," I told my little brother as Jimmy got stuck for words. He did as I said and stuck another piece of toast in his mouth.

"I gotta get ready for work," I told them as I stood from my seat, when I walked past Jimmy, I patted him on his shoulder, "Good attempt," I muttered.

I was stocking up at work when I heard the door open, I ignored it and kept working, not bothering to see who had come inside. Instead, I bent down to place more cans on the bottom shelf.

"Don't know what it is, red, but uh, I feel less alone in the world knowing I can drive across town and find you here bent over cans of chicken stock." Rick's voice made me sigh and stand upright to face him.

"Look, I'm sorry," he looked down, "Truly, I just-" he sighed loudly, "Can you forgive a man who's falling apart a little?" Rick wondered with a frown. I tilted my head, "Yeah..."

The door opened again as a customer wandered in. "Can I kiss you?" Rick asked, leaning forward slightly. "Nope," I blurted quickly as I moved past him.

"So, listen," he said and when I looked back, I noticed that he'd picked up a strawberry and taken a bite, "Um, I need somebody to rob my house and I'm hoping you could help," he stated.

I looked up at him slowly, "You want me to rob your house?" I checked and he gave me a nod. "Carol changed the locks on the house, my goddamn house," he told me, "And she won't let me back in so I need someone to steal my stuff."
