Like planned, I went out for drinks with Rick later on. We sat close together at a table near the window and Rick's hand had taken a place on my thigh.
"So, who was that guy at the store earlier?" Rick asked after taking a sip from his drink, "Is he your ex or something?" he guessed. I shook my head, "No...no," I sighed, "He's uh, he's nobody."
I picked up my glass and downed the rest of its contents at the mention of Mickey before thinking back to his jealousy earlier.
"I got you something."
"Hmm?" I snapped back to reality and turned my head to look at the men. His hand left me to read into his jacket pocket, I watched curiously. He held up an expensive-looking bracelet and my jaw dropped.
"No way," I gasped, "You shouldn't, you didn't have to-" Rick held his hand up, "I insist," he smiled, "Pretty girls deserve pretty things."
He reached out and took my wrist before clasping on the bracelet. "There," he said with a nod. I smiled, "Thanks," I nodded back.
Rick noticed my empty glass, "You want another drink?" he wondered. I sighed, "Yeah, sure."

"Did that fatty actually cop a feel?" Rick asked as we walked out. "He totally did!" I giggled as we looked behind us and laughed.
"You gotta be kidding me, what's up with that?" Rick chuckled and we began to cross the road. I nodded and looked ahead for the first time since leaving.
I stopped walking when I caught sight of the familiar black-haired, blue-eyed boy who I'd began catching feelings for.
"Mickey?" I frowned, "What the hell are you doing here?" I asked. I could tell that he has had a few beers. "Oh, from the store, right," Rick stated with a small gasp and looked over to me, "Come on, Alyssa, don't be rude.
He turned back to look at Mickey before continuing, "Invite your boyfriend back to my place, I mean, the more the merrier, right?" He chuckled as I furrowed my eyebrows at his offer.
Mickey's hand came up to rub his chin as he laughed darkly, "I'm sorry, what did you call me?" he asked. Rick tilted his head, "What?"
Like a flash, Mickey's head snapped forward and butted against Rick's causing him to stumble slightly. "Jesus, Mickey!" I scolded but Mickey soon punched Rick.
His fist kept swinging back to collide with Rick's face and soon he was on the ground, "The fuck you call me, faggot?" Mickey knelt to continue punching him.
"Quit it!" I yelled as blood covered Rick's face, I moved forward and leant down to bring my hands to Mickey's shoulders and push him back.
