Summer came around quickly, Fiona didn't go with Steve and we haven't heard from him since. However everything else is normal, Debbie has set up a day-care. Fiona and Veronica have been working at a club bartending.
Meanwhile, me, Ian, and Lip have a fight business going on. We find people who are willing to fight and get bets on them.
Tonight didn't go as planned, our fighter pussied out last minute so Lip was filling in. And he wasn't doing very well.
Mandy came tonight to watch as Lip got the shit kicked out of him. The three of us yelled him on, attempting to get him to fight back.
"Get your guard up, Lip!"
Lip was thrown towards us and Ian caught him, "Kick him back. You're punching like a fag," Ian shouted over the yelling. He pushed Lip back into the circle.
In less than 10 seconds, Lip was flipped and thrown on the ground. Mandy and I winced. A bell clanged.
"First round! Go to your corners!"
Lip waddled over to us, blood covered his face and chest. "Oh, hey Mandy," He muttered as he sat on the chair. "You know you're supposed to hit him back," I scoffed swatting his shoulder.
"Fuck, that kid hits hard," Lip winced as Ian pressed a wet cloth to his face. "What did you think this was going to be?" Mandy asked making a face at him.
"Well, I didn't think he could punch me with his foot. He kicked the top of my goddam head," Lip groaned, hitting Ian's arm away. "Look at me," Ian told him, "You wanna throw in the towel?"
The bell clanged again, signalling the second round. Lip sighed, "I would if I was smart." He ran back into the circle.

After the fight, we were walking home. I cursed myself for wearing a jumper considering how it was still scorching at night. "How the hell did that little guy kick Kurt fucking Landis' ass?" Mandy puzzled with a scoff.
"We make anything on my fight?" Lip wondered, placing a cigarette in his mouth. "Nah, nobody wanted the odds," I told him. "What'd you put down?"
Ian chuckled, "What, on the fight you lost? Nada. Fraternal loyalty doesn't extend to stupidity, bud." Lip moved in front of us, smiling and raising his fists at Ian who copied his actions as they pretended to fight.
They continued for a while before walking back in sync with us. "So, Mickey's out soon, yeah?" Lip wondered, Mandy nodded. "In about a week or so, if he doesn't stab anybody else."
Me and my brother look at her, she chuckled and shrugged, "Plastic fork, barely broke the kid's skin but it bought him 30 days," She explained. "You gotta be looking forward to having Mickey home again."
