Unknown's POV

"Dad, please. We wanna go home!" I said as I look at the ground to keep my tears undetected. "Hindi ba, twinny?" Sabi ko sa kakambal ko.

"Y-yes d-dad." Sagot naman nito na parang hindi mapakali.

Napag buntog hininga naman si daddy. "You still have to finish your school year, darling." My dad told me as he caressed my head.

"Then after that, can we go home then?" I asked, my eyes twinkling like it has never did.

Tumango naman siya. At niyakap namin siya ng kakambal ko.

"That's a promise, dad, isn't it?" I asked him as I moved back.

"Yes, anak." He answered, offering both of her pinky fingers to us. We intertwined our fingers, and then, it's sealed. It's a pinky promise.

He kissed our foreheads as he stood up. "I'll be on my way na ha. Take care my little fellas. Bantayan niyo si mommy, okay?" Sabi nito and we smiled at him. He bid good bye as his car went out of the garadge.
We really wanted to go home. Or is it only me? I looked at my twin, and she's busy scribbling up something at her paper.

"Masyado ka ng matalino, twinny." I told her.

Ngumiti naman ito.

"Ate, bakit ba gusto mong umuwi ng Pilipinas? Maganda naman dito sa Canada ah. The weather's almost perfect." Sabi nito.

"Nah. I just want to meet someone." I answered.

"And who is it?" She asked as her eyebrows raised.

"Hey, don't you dare raise your eyebrows at me! I'm still older than you!" I scolded her. But it seems nothing to her.

"Nah. Ate, huwag ka munang mag love life ha. Bata ka pa ate." Sabi nito.

"Huy. Parang mas matanda ka sa akin makasagot ha." Pagsagot ko rito.

"Ilang minuto lang naman agwat natin eh." Sabi niya atsaka tumawa. "Pero seryoso ate, sino ba yun?"

Ang nosy naman ng kapatid ko.

"Twinny, you know, it's none of your business na."

"If it's not, then, why do I need to pretend like I wanna go home badly, like you?" She asked. "If it's not, then, can I stay here?"

"No. No way. Don't you want to get a glimpse of granny's?" I asked.

"That won't be a"glimpse" ate, it would take too long to find the one you're looking for."

"Bakit ba ayaw mo doon kina lola?"

"I just hate cats." She answered.

"I'll get rid of 'em." I assured her.

"Nah, Granny loves her cats too much that she even sleep with them." She answered, disagreeing.

I sighed in disbelief. Bakit ba ayaw nitong sumama?

"Is it just Granny or you're avoiding someone?" I asked.

"Nah. I don't really like it there. I don't want to socialize."

"You know, socializing is better than staying at home writing nonsense." I told her.

"I'm not writing nonsense. I'm doing math."

"Math is purely nonsense." I answered.

"Yeah, because you don't know how to deal with it." She answered with a smile of victory plastered all over her face. "Don't worry ate. I won't leave you. Anyway, quality time na rin ni mom and dad." She added. "If you know what I mean." She said as she stood up and ran upstairs.

"Ugh! Naughty kiddo!" I stood up and followed her.

"Ate naman, hindi ka na nasanay. But anyway. Pack your things na. Malapit na rin ang end ng school year natin.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes as I got my luggage bag at the top of my cabinet.

"Be sure to pack clothes, not foods." She said and I rolled my eyes again. "You know, mapapanis, ilang weeks pa naman."

"Yeah, ilang weeks, hello Philippines na." I said as I acted like a Pilipinang dalaga.

She chuckled. "Hello Philippines, o hello sa hinahanap mo?" Sabi nito at binato ko naman ng unan.
