Twenty Six - Time off

Kat felt a pain in the right side of her forehead, of course, there's a butterfly stitches over the cut on her forehead. She opened her eyes, the light in the room hurting them and she closed them shut. She tried to say 'what happened' but it came out as a muffle.

She opened her eyes again and let them adjust to the light. When they finally did she looked around and realizing she's in hospital room. "Kat, are you okay? How do you feel?" A sudden voice startled her. Oh. It's Seokjin. She said she felt weird, dizzy, confused and didn't really know why.

Later on, they're told by the doctors her head CT scan shows that she's fine and stable, although the loss of her baby might be shocking for her. She did experience slight confusion when she's awake, luckily Seokjin is there to console her.

However, Jeongguk the only one anxiously pacing back and forth, he couldn't help but needed to asked because he needs to know the truth. He clears his throat as he approached Kat's bedside. Even Seokjin couldn't stop him.

"Kat, I can't wait any longer, now tell me, what did you do to Taehyung?"

"Huh?" She gasped and started to cried out while she clutched her aching head, as if it can stop the memories from earlier replaying over and over again. "I didn't do anything? I got pulled down! It's T- Taehyung! He grab my sling bag and we fell down!" Said Kat looking between Jeongguk and Seokjin.

"Okay, okay, if you say so then it's alright.." Jeongguk whispers. Kat chokes back a loud sob and looks back at him. "Now, please don't cry, I don't want to see you cry. Need you to rest and don't worry about anything.. From here on, I will take care of you until you recovered." Jeongguk brings both hands to cupped Kat's cheeks and softly rubs them.

Kat makes no move, scared of what's happening, she thought his ex would hate her and questioned her further, but nothing. She's already trying to hold herself together not sure if she would be able to get through all of this alone... After her plan went wrong.

Wow, Jeongguk.. I expected you to ignore me or even giving me the cold war but nope, none of that. Thank goodness you didn't talk about the incident or I could not do this... I shall take advantage of this kind of situations, its a confirm working way!

Maybe the universe has a better plan for me and maybe someone is already destined to be your better half, and that person is me. Well, It's okay if I lost this baby. In future, we could produce 101 of Jeon's babies. Kat smirked by her own thoughts. 😏
