Chapter 30: Misses.

The week went on super although Gillard wouldn't stop trailing over everything and everywhere I was. Aaah! I shrugged each time I saw his gigantic figure on my pathways.

I had started loosening a bit with Alicia althou we were not totally in good terms but atleast we would make stories and hang out mutually...

Juliet was a rare since she kept on complaining of having the worst classes this semester...she was always full of assignments and shit so meeting her was the rare of all the possibilities.

"Dude what the fuck is wrong with you! Can't you read between the lines and see I'm not enjoying any bit of your petty talks?!"
I asked Gillard after the Math class on Friday afternoon when I saw him running to me between the overcrowded hallway.

This was my last class and I really needed peace during the weekend. Some time alone in my small house connecting on FaceTime with Mom and maybe get in touch with Donny too since I had his class teacher's contacts. Gillard was a pain in the ass and he wouldn't give me the lone time I needed and I was afraid he would bite me within the weekend too.

"It's not what you think Amanda...it's just I want to make things clear between us...I know the first time we met I was kind of a jackass and didn't apprehend on you well but....can we start over...maybe take you on a date this weekend? I swear I'll behave."

Woah look at him!

"To be precise...are you tryna fuck?" I loved how clear my voice came out when I said this. Immediately I remembered Tricia...that stupid ass was so lose and open....I bet she doesn't even know the meaning of holding tight ends and staying on a lane.

"What?No!...well..." Gillard's confused words wake me from the hallucinations.

"Well then why you so clingy?!"

"I just want us to know each other better...on a light note..." He says offensively and I notice he even realises he completely doesn't make any sense. He brushes roughly through his hair and the curls land on his forehead looking all messy and...cute...I brushed off the thought.of seeing him that way and looked at him firmly just so he gets more uncomfortable..it was fun fr!!

I give him a quiet gaze and walk away..what was I thinking when I asked him if he tried to fuck.! I mean even if his answer could be yes...would I accept his date? I slapped my mind off the thoughts and headed to the gate.

Juliet and Alicia were already there when I came and they all ran to me. I thought I needed time alone this weekend.

"Hey...you took long in there. Are you done with that stupiddo....what does he really need with you?" Juliet asks immediately they reach my way.

We all walk in a single line heading for the taxi. My house was thirty minutes away and I really had not thought of walking...I was hella tired of that shit.

"He says he wants a date with me." I make it short as we all dump ourselves in the taxi. I bet we're all going to my place since that's what I got them used to....we always spend  a lot of our free time at my place even though Alicia still stays in the school hostels...she always says she hates everyone there since the girls were used to talking about Chris and all that crap made him miss him more.

"Well I hope you declined the proposal cause we are having a girls out tomorrow night and we need all this time to plan on what clothes to wear."

"Dang! When did y'all decide on all this and how sure are you I'm in the mood?" I asked revealing the disappointment in my face as I looked at their ignorant faces.
