Chapter 66- Holiday Endings

The rest of their holiday consisted of sightseeing and skiing. The first day they went skiing was both an exciting and terrifying experience for the pair as neither had skied before. They started with a trainer, showing them how to do certain things and what they should do in situations, also how to actually ski and how to use the sticks properly. They set off down the smallest slope first and ended up falling countless times which had been hilarious for the pair as it didn't seem that bad. However, after a couple of hours on the small slope, they managed to figure it out and the last few times down they didn't fall over. So they headed up the bigger slopes.

This was when things took a more serious turn and as Magnus slipped and fell he ended up in a fast roll down the slope which he couldn't stop, crashing into Alec and taking him down as well as another skier. The other man fell awkwardly and ended up with a couple of broken toes which wasn't too serious but enough for him and his family to end up in a huge row with Alec and Magnus.

Magnus had apologised profusely when he managed to stop and stand up. He couldn't believe what he had done and ended up in tears as he begged the man for forgiveness but the man and his family hadn't been so nice. He shouted at Magnus, calling him names and swearing at him, making him feel really shitty about himself. This had resulted in Alec going back and the two men shouting in each other's faces. Swear words and insults flying between the two of them and Alec appalled at the man's behaviour and telling him that Magnus hadn't done it on purpose and he had apologised so he needed to grow up and try and enjoy the rest of his holiday.

The argument had ended when security had to get involved and split them up. The other family left to go to the hospital to get the man's foot checked and Magnus just wanted to go home. Alec had constantly reassured him that he did nothing wrong but Magnus still felt guilty and awful for the whole situation. Alec understood why but he still wanted to cheer Magnus up since they didn't have long left of the holiday. So when they got back to the cabin, Magnus went up for a shower and Alec set to work making dinner.

They had been shopping the day before and Alec was now making steak with mushrooms and tomatoes and thick fries. He had set the table up nicely with candles and a bottle of wine as well as turned on the hot tub and the underfloor heating outside so after dinner they could relax.

When Magnus came downstairs he burst into tears and hugged Alec, completely in love with the man that held him. He was still shocked when Alec did anything nice for him. When Alec made him feel loved and adored.

"Hey, why are you crying?" Alec asked as he hugged him tightly.

"I just... I love you so much. I'm so lucky to have you" Magnus sobbed into Alec's chest.

"I'm lucky to have you too. You are my everything and this was meant to make you smile, not cry" Alec smiled as he pulled back slightly so Magnus would look at him.

"I am happier now because of you. I'm just surprised you would do all this for me" Magnus swallowed and wiped his eyes on the sleeve of his fluffy robe.

"You shouldn't be surprised. As I've said before, this is what you deserve" Alec said and kissed him softly but quickly. "Now go and pour me some wine while I bring the food over"

"Okay" Magnus chuckled slightly and went off to pour the wine.

Magnus smiled as Alec came over with the food and they tucked into their romantic evening. Both enjoyed the food and the conversation between them before they got into the hot tub and relaxed. Magnus had thought that Alec would be trying to make a move on him when he climbed into the water naked but was pleasantly surprised when he only hugged him. Kissing him softly and making him feel loved and cherished before they went to sleep in the bed.

It had been a couple of days before Magnus's guilt left him enough for him to continue enjoying the rest of their holiday completely. The pair went to various shops and bought clothes and various foods that they hadn't tried before. The last night of their holiday was a little sad for the pair as they climbed into bed. Magnus huffed and pouted which made Alec chuckle.

"I don't want to go home... even though at this moment I don't even feel like we have a home" Magnus sighed.

"I don't want to leave either but I promise, when we get back tomorrow we will start house hunting and we will find our new home" Alec smiled, pleased when Magnus smiled back.

"I love you Alexander Gideon Lightwood," Magnus said as he stroked Alec's cheek.

"I love you too Magnus Bane, soon to be Magnus Lightwood" Alec winked.

"Oh no, I don't think so. Alexander Bane actually" Magnus chuckled and laughed more seeing Alec frown and pout slightly before shaking his head.

"Lightwood"

"Bane"

"Lightwood!"

"Bane!"

"LIGHTWOOD!" Alec shouted, the two men arguing over the last name but in a joking manner.

"How about we double barrel it?" Magnus suggested.

"What do you mean?" Alec asked, confused.

"Alexander Bane-Lightwood" Magnus smiled.

"Hm... sounds like a good idea. Although, Lightwood-Bane sounds better don't you think? It sounds like it, I don't know, rolls off the tongue better?" Alec shrugged.

"Magnus Lightwood-Bane. Alexander Lightwood-Bane" Magnus said as he thought about it before smiling. "Okay. Deal. Lightwood-Bane it is"

"Excellent" Alec grinned and pulled him in for a kiss before moving his hands from Magnus's waist around to the top of his asscheeks. "I contained myself in that hot tub but now... well now I can't resist you"

"I was starting to think there was something wrong with you" Magnus teased as he laid down and looked up at him. "Or that you didn't find me attractive anymore"

"Oh, you silly man. You're the sexiest man alive" Alec smirked and moved above him.

"Well... why don't you show me how much you want me then?" Magnus grinned and instantly pulled his knees up and spread them apart, biting his lip.

"Oh, I shall" Alec winked and leaned down. He kissed him softly at first before the mood took them away and everything grew more intense, lustful and desirable as they ended the last night of their holiday was a torrid and passionate lovemaking session.
