Chapter 12

Y/n's POV

We sat down at a bench near the pond. This place was really special to me. I hope it is for her.

"Hey, remember this spot?" Jihyo asked with a straight face. I looked at her and stayed silent. "This is where a good and a bad thing happened." She added.

"This is where our love started...and also where it ended." She smiled bitterly.

Well that straight up hurt. We didn't have closure as well, I won't talk about that right now. Maybe next time, if there's still a next time.

"Uhh hey, what happened when I...disappeared?" I nervously asked. I still can't look at her for too long, that's why I just averted my gaze somewhere else.

"Well..."

Jihyo's POV

After I ran away from our house, I decided to calm myself at the park. The place where everything started. The place where I gave all the love that I can to my lover.

I know I'm just jealous but it's different when it comes to Seulgi. I can't just not feel insecure about the fact that Y/n liked her when we were just dating.

That hurts for me, I just really love her so much that I can't bare to lose her. I sighed as I chuckled at dramatic I can get.

"Jihyo-ah, you gotta be strong for the both of you. No matter what happens, you can work things out. That's what couples do." After that little pep-talk with myself, I suddenly heard a familiar voice calling out my name.

I looked around and saw nothing but darkness. There's light provided by the park itself but not that much since it is night time. I tried my best again to look for that voice, it kept on calling me. I noticed a person running towards me, it's a girl.

I waited for her to step up a little by the light before I come near her.

Once the girl did, it was Y/n. Tears started to fall when I saw her fall down. I was about to come near her but someone suddenly took her and puts her inside a black van.

I was shocked, I was about to scream but somebody covered my mouth and it made me feel sleepy.

The next day I woke up in our room, I saw my mother sitting at the corner of our room. I sat up and asked her what happened and where my fiancée is.

"Listen. Honey, forget about her. It's time for you to take life and marriage seriously." Mother said. I'm confused on what she meant.

"Mom, we talked about this. I love her and she loves me, we're about to get married and you're invited." I said with all the might I have in my system.

"You can never get my point, do you? I'm trying to point out that if you ever find her, I won't even think twice about not hurting her." She threatened me.

"You took her?! Mom how could you???" I was at the verge of crying. I was mad and surprised and worried, my feelings were everywhere, I don't know what to feel at this moment.

"Two days, Jihyo. Meet me at the company after two days, I don't want to see that ring on your finger. You'll meet your new husband." She stood up and was about to leave the room but I held her hand, preventing her from going.

"This is too much for me to handle, give me a month please. I promise I'll do what you want, mom." I pleaded. Obviously a month is not enough. Even a year is not enough.

"Fine. I called your friends over so that they can keep you company. Take care of yourself, I'm just doing what's best for you, honey." She hugged me and caressed my head. I sobbed and just nodded, knowing that I don't have any choice but to listen and once again fake my feelings.

She left and she really did called the girls. They hugged me tight and I just let them do what they want. I can't talk about this right now. I just can't.

"Let's all sleep with Jihyo from now on." Nayeon unnie said. All of them agreed and they started to talk about traveling for me to cheer up.

How am I going to move on from this? I'm forced to marry some other man that I don't even love.

~ end of flashback ~

"The rest is well, I'm sure you get it already." Jihyo smiled, getting a little teary eyed. I offered her my handkerchief and she gladly took it.

"Why did you change your phone number? And block me on all of my social media account?" I sincerely asked.

"Mother kept track of my activities with my phone. I tried to call or even reach you but I just can't. I don't want them to hurt you. So, mother had to renew every information that you know to reach me." She answered and everything is clear now, except for one thing.

Have you moved on?

I'm too scared to know the answer, that's why I didn't ask anything else.

I checked the time and it's currently 4:20 PM. Time flies by when you enjoy the moment. I stood up and looked at Jihyo.

"Time to go, Jihyo." I sadly smiled, because I'm, once again, gonna let her go. She nodded and stood up as well. The both of us walked together silently.

"You'll be at our wedding right? You and Ryujin?" She curiously asked and I nodded my head.

"We'll take photos at your wedding, you can call us if you want to have a photoshoot at your honeymoon, but of course, we won't be with you the whole honeymoon trip." She kind of looked sad when I said that we won't be there at all times.

We drove back to the venue of our photoshoot, because Ryujin and Daniel are already there.

We bid farewell and said that we will continue the photoshoot at the wedding. Ryujin and I went home and I already forgot about Jihyo, why? Because I have to.

"You okay?" Ryujin asked and I just nodded my head as I focus on parking the car. I turned the car engine off and Ryujin went out first. She slammed the door so I thought that she's mad or something. I sighed and went outside, after pressing the button to lock the car doors, I doubled check if they're locked properly.

I was about to follow Ryujin but she was already beside me, staring at me. "What?" and with that she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck and pressed her lips against mine.

I was shocked of course because of the sudden action by her, I was slowly giving in, I closed my eyes and kissed her back.

I can't believe this is happening. She pulled away and looked down. "S-Sorry." She uttered.

"It's fine." I gave her forehead a quick peck before holding her hand.

We went inside the house, still holding each other hands. The four girls were smirking cheekily, because they clearly saw everything from the window.

Ryujin and I blushed and they kept on smirking at us. "Shut up" I said and quickly pulled Ryujin to my room.

She confessed and apologized again. She's so cute.

"Do we have any schedules tomorrow?" I casually asked and started to fix my stuff.

"Nothing, we're free tomorrow and the next 3 days are vacant as well." She said and sat down on my bed.

"Really? My planner said that I have a date tomorrow." I looked at her seriously and she looked sad. "Well, enjoy." She was about to go outside but I hurriedly spoke.

"A date with you." She faced me and she was so red. I chuckled and kept on teasing her the whole time.

We had dinner and I sat down beside Ryujin, the girls are really teasing us and I stuck my tongue out to tease them back.

After dinner, we did our routine and everything. Ryujin and I will start to share my room and the other four will stay at Ryujin's room.

Let's...give this a try, Ryujin.
