Jindal Family

Akshat Jindal - Also called AJ, aged 41, famous chef and owner of the popular restaurant "Zaaika" in Indore. 20 years ago, he adopted the sons of his elder brother. (His elder brother had lost all his property in gambling, which he started to avoid his pain after his wife's death. Unable to reprimand his own mistakes and unwilling to carry out his responsibilities, he left the house and abandoned his children) AJ took up all the responsibility of his family, raised the children as his own. 10 years ago, his wife, Antara died and since then, he had imprisoned himself in solitude of her memories, bereft of all colours and joys of life. Over time, he has become bitter and gloomy.

Savitri Devi Jindal - Aged 69, mother of Akshat Jindal, very caring and lively, constantly worrying about his son's future.

Kishore Jindal - Aged 29, adopted son of Akshat Jindal. Eldest amongst the three brothers, mature and silent in nature, obedient to every word of AJ.

Durga Jindal - Aged 28, wife of Kishore Jindal. Most responsible amongst the three daughter-in-laws, very protective of jindal family's reputation at any cost.

Vardhan Jindal - Aged 26, adopted son of Akshat Jindal. The rebellious one amongst his brothers, doesn't like rules imposed by AJ.

Lakshmi Jindal - Aged 25, wife of Vardhan Jindal, easy-going and fun-loving like her husband.

Rahul Jindal - Aged 26, adopted son of Akshat Jindal. Younger twin brother of Vardhan, but poles apart from him. Responsible like his brother Kishore, but also fun-loving and joyful.

Saraswati Jindal - Aged 24, also called Saru, wife of Rahul Jindal, most ambitious one amongst the three daughter-in-laws, money matters to her more than anything else in the world.

Gupta Family

Guddan Gupta - Aged 24, an aspiring actress and a movie buff. Joyful, caring, straight-forward but often commits mistakes, mostly due to the lack of confidence instilled in her due to years of harassment by her step-mother.

Revati Gupta - Aged 21, a caring and supportive step-sister of Guddan, has excellent baking skills, known for her speciality cakes in Indore, at such a young age.

Bhushan Gupta - Aged 53, a doting father, who loves both his daughter and supports them in every way.

Kaushalya Gupta - Aged 48, step-mother of Guddan, who harasses and rebukes her everytime, in order to prove that her biological daughter Revati, is better than Guddan in every aspect.

Rawat Family

Vikram Rawat - Aged 41, friend of Akshat and Antara's brother. He blames Akshat for his sister's death and hates him.

Meera Rawat - Aged 36, wife of Vikram, a loving mother and a caring wife.

Anshu Rawat - Aged 7, son of Vikram and Meera, very curious and naughty, always questions about everything, and his endless innocent questions sometimes fill everyone with joy, and sometimes force them to rethink about their approach towards life.
