And the much awaited Sangeet Ceremony begins. One dance performance follows the other - dance by family members, friends; solo, duet, group dance.

Meanwhile a thread of Guddan's Dupatta gets stuck in Akshat's cufflink, and both of them are unaware of it. But everyone else was aware. People started staring at Guddan, but she had no clue why. Just then, Reshma comes near her.

Reshma (smiling) - Oye hoye, possesive haan!

Guddan (surprised) - Kya possesive?

Reshma - Aur nahin toh kya? Waise manna padega, kya tareeka nikala hai........ Dupatte se hi bandh liya Jiju ko........ Ab kahin bhi jayen, kisi se bhi milen, tujhe toh pataa chalna hi chalna hai........ Genius.......

Guddan's eyes widen as she realises the situation. Akshat was at the other end of the hall and a long thread of her Dupatta was entangled in Akshat's cufflink. She quickly tries to reach to Akshat to remove the thread from his cufflink but Akshat's phone rings and attending the call, he starts walking ahead.

Embarrassed Guddan tries to keep pace with Akshat, as everybody around them stare at them and giggle. But Guddan is unable to keep the pace and the thread lengthens and lengthens. Finally Guddan catches up to Akshat but he is busy talking on the phone. Trying not to create a scene, she silently tries to untangle the thread but is unable to do so. Meanwhile, Akshat turns and sees her.

Akshat (over the phone) - I'll call you back. (to Guddan) Kya kar rahi ho?

Guddan shows him the tangled thread. Akshat shakes his head in "no", while trying to untangle the thread. Finally successful, Akshat removes the thread from his cufflink.

Akshat - Abhi please aur kahin mat phasa lena apna Dupatta....... Thoda dhyaan se......

And now time for Guddan-Akshat's dance. Saahil makes the announcement on the stage. Guddan and Akshat rush inside.

Saahil (announcing on the stage) - Aur ab ek Indo-western fusion dance......... Gujarati music meets not only Dandia, but also Salsa and  Ballroom Dance......... Yeh kamaal sirf yeh next couple hi kar sakte hain, jinki love-story mein bhi kuch aisa hi fusion hai........ (and Guddan gives a stern look to Saahil for uttering "love-story", which he blatantly ignores and continues) So, a big round of applause for our next couple..........

As the music starts, both of them take start with identical fast-paced Gujarati steps, moving back and forth. And as the lyrics of the song starts, Akshat holds her and starts twirling Guddan around him, in tune with the music.

Udi udi jaye
Udi udi jaye
Dil ki patang dekho
Udi udi jaye.............

And with their palms facing each other, they tune in to Salsa for the next part, pacing back and forth towards each other, looking in each other's eyes.

Udi udi jaye
Udi udi jaye
Dil ki patang dekho
Udi udi jaye.............

And Guddan breaks away from Akshat, and he pulls her towards him. Guddan lip-syncs and dances moving around Akshat on the following lyrics.

Kehne ko toh khel hai
Ye tera mera sanjha
Par mera dil hai patang
Aur teri nazar manjha..........

And Akshat repeatedly pulls her towards him, in sync with the music.

Manjhe se lipti ye patang
Judi judi jaaye........

And back to Salsa, palm facing each other.

Udi udi jaye
Udi udi jaye
Dil ki patang dekho
Udi udi jaye........

And Akshat lifts her up holding her by the waist and revolves around himself.

Do dil ude, do dil ude
Unche aasmaano mein jude.......

And as Akshat brings Guddan down, they switch gears to traditional Dandia during the music. Guddan smiles looking at Akshat, as she remembers his words from their first encounter with dance, when Akshat denied to dance on a similar song, "Maine yeh aise bakwas gaanon pe dance nahi karta." This Akshat, dancing perfectly to the tunes of this song, felt almost unrecognisable from that Akshat. They both had indeed come a long way.

As the lyrics starts, Akshat pushes Guddan's shoulder teasingly, and she is about to trip, still lost in her thoughts, admiring Akshat. Akshat smoothly holds her by waist and changes his steps to make up for the situation.

Mujhe kab tha pata iska
Tere prem ka iktaara
Mann mein yun pal pal baajega........

And Guddan comes out of her thoughts, as Akshat snaps his fingers. Next moment, she lip-syncs and performs her steps.

Mujhe kab thi khabar iski
Mere mann ke singhasan par tu
Sada ko yun tu birajega........

And Guddan dances around Akshat in traditional Gujarati steps.

Koi bhi kathinayi ho ya koi ho majburi
Teri meri ek bhi pal hove nahi doori........

And Akshat again twirls her around him.

Manjhe se lipti ye patang
Judi judi jaye.........

And back to Salsa, both turning each other simultaneously, picking up pace.

Udi udi jaye
Udi udi jaye
Dil ki patang dekho
Udi udi jaye........

And Akshat sits on his knee and Guddan does a full turn around him, continuing Salsa form.

Ye jo patang hai tere hi sang hai
Teri hi ore dekh mudi mudi jaye.......

Akshat lifts Guddan by waist using right arm, Guddan's left hand over Akshat's shoulder and Akshat turns over and over as Guddan sways her body gracefully.

Do dil ude, do dil ude
Unche aasmaano mein jude......

Do dil ude, do dil ude
Unche aasmaano mein jude......

The lift ends with Guddan lifted in Akshat's arms, with Guddan's arms locked around his neck. Akshat spins a few times carrying her in his arms and then, then, spins the lower half of her body around his waist, while steadily holding her by her waist.

Arey udi udi udi….... udi jaye........

Udi udi jaye….....

And finally, he again spins her back to the front and they have a eyelock.

Everyone present cheer and clap as Akshat puts Guddan down. It was indeed an amazing dance - not only in terms of their synchronisation with each other, but how swiftly they could move back and forth between contrasting dance forms with ease and grace. Saahil was right, this dance indeed reflected their real-life coordination and the fusion of different contrasting elements in their relationship - Akshat's non-expressiveness  and Guddan's liveliness, Akshat's confidence and Guddan's nervousness, Akshat's strict discipline and Guddan's out-of-the-box ideas - elements that were contrasting indeed, but also in a way complementing each other. And that's what makes their relationship so unique.
