My head is all over the place. I know I'm not thinking rationally but at this point, I couldn't care less.

Any speck of rational thought flew straight out of the window the second I found Spencer in her apartment.

After contacting Fai and Mick, they informed me that Marshall still hasn't come back to the apartment, meaning he's somewhere else. It didn't take me long to track down his current location though.

"It's been a while since I've been here." I say to myself as I glance up at the huge building in front of me. Let's hope that there's a full floor of workers here who can witness this.

"Slow down Kane, you haven't thought this through." Asher says from behind me as he closes the passenger side door and runs around the front of the car.

"Yes I have." I scowl as he soon catches up to me.

"What are you going to do? Beat the guy up and wait for him to talk?"

I turn to him, anger building throughout my body as my fists clench together, "who said anything about talking? I'm just going to fucking kill him."

His eyes widen as he tries to grab my shoulder but I shrug him off, picking up my pace as I storm through the entrance of the building.

"Fuck sake Kane. You can't do this in broad daylight with a company full of witnesses." He exclaims as as he jogs after me.

"Watch me." I tell him through gritted teeth, determined to teach this piece of shit a lesson.

I head through the revolving doors and make my way towards the front desk, paying no attention to the queue of waiting people and heading straight to the front.

Dismissing the mutters and dirty looks from the people waiting in line, I focus my sole attention on the woman sat behind the desk. "Where is Marshall Fletcher?" I ask, getting straight to the point.

She furrows her brows, opening her mouth to speak but Asher jumps in before she gets the chance. "I think what he meant to say is, do you know if Marshall Fletcher available at all please ma'am?"

He nudges my arm beside me, trying to get my attention but I don't budge. I'm not in the mood to be polite right now. I just want to know where Marshall is.

"He's currently unavailable, is there a message that I can pass on?" She asks.

Oh there's a message alright.

"Yeah, you can tell him that—"

"Uh!" Asher says loudly, cutting me off before I can finish my sentence. "We don't actually have an official appointment or anything but I think what Kane here is trying to say is that—"

This time it's Asher getting cut off because a voice calls out from behind me, causing the two of us to turn around. My eyes widen slightly at the approaching figure, a dark suit which no doubt costs a fortune fitting his tall frame.

"Kane," he greets loudly. "What brings you here?"

"Marcus," I respond, offering an acknowledgeable nod. "Just doing some business. You know how it is."
