"Happy birthday." I whisper as I lean up and press a tender kiss against his lips.

He smiles, his deep brown eyes watching me intently. "Thank you baby."

I rest my arm over his chest and grin, "how does it feel to be thirty-one, grandpa?"

His eyebrows instantly raise and a smirk begins to form on his face. "Grandpa?" He questions sarcastically and I giggle. "Could a grandpa still do this?" He asks, suddenly moving so that he's hovering above me.

My eyes widen and a small gasp escapes my lips as I bite down on my lip to contain another laugh. He smirks, moving down in the bed, his nose bumping my stomach on the way. "Oops, sorry little guy," he says playfully as he places his hand on my fast growing bump.

He lifts the sheets and throws them over himself, completely disappearing underneath them and I chuckle, trying to lift them to see him. Just as his hands reach my pants the door flies open and I gasp, swatting Kane's head.

He freezes and I stare blankly at our three year old daughter as she offers me a toothy smile. More footsteps follow and Kane's nearly two year old mini me waddles in, still a little uneasy on his feet.

"Mommy I got Titan up all by myself!" Thea exclaims and I stare at them both as they stand by the side of the bed.

Kane moves emerges from the covers and Thea gasps when she sees him. "Daddy!" She giggles but then gives him a curious look. "Why were you sleeping that way?"

I look at Kane with raises eyebrows, dying to hear his response. He catches me and starts chuckling. "I just uh.. I lost something." He stutters and I hold in a laugh.

Titan jumps up and down, laughing and Kane leans over to pick him up before putting him in the bed with us. I pat the spot next to me and Thea jumps in beside us, snuggling into me. She moves down towards my stomach and places her hands over it, giving it a small kiss. "Morning Blaze." She whispers and I look up at Kane as he smiles.

"Dada!" Titan babbles as he playfully jumps up and down while leaning onto him.

"Happy birthday daddy!" Thea exclaims as she lunges herself she him, almost knocking into Titan. He wraps his arm around her, squeezing her as she giggles.

"Thank you princess," he replies with a large smile as she lays against him.

I smile as I watch the three of them — our family. Our little family. I catch a glimpse of my ring shimmering in the sunlight and I glance down at it, remembering how special that day was.

Our wedding day. One of the best days of my entire life. It was everything I had ever imagined and more. Perfect.

Mabel helped design my wedding dress with me and I could be more appreciative. It turned out exactly how I had imagined, if not better.

Kane proposed to me two months after we came home from Turks and Caicos and to say I was in shock was an understatement. It was beautiful and so intimate. He placed candles on the floor of the terrace and there were red roses scattered everywhere.
