Glenn's P.O.V~

"Do you know where Ruby is?" I ask Carol.

"Yeah, she walked through the gates a half hour ago, said she needed some fresh air." She replies calmly.

I run over to the gates and signal up to the guard tower to open them.

As they open I get out and follow the prints of her shoes... until I come to the body.

It's a large male and laying not far away is Ruby's gun with it's silencer.

I turn the man over and see a stab wound to his temple and a gun shot to his stomach. I look over at the last set of Ruby's prints, next to them there is a roughly circular dint where she must have fallen.

I walk the same direction that Ruby's feet may have went and find a clearing with a set of tire tracks.

She's been kidnapped... I think as I feel my feet give way and my whole body go numb with shock.

Then everything goes black.

Time Lapse ~

I wake up inside the prison, on the bottom bunk of me and Ruby's cell. It's obviously morning as soft warm morning light filters through the windows and illuminates the cell.

I turn to my left and see Max huddled in the corner of the bed, sweating profusely.

I try to move but my body won't respond properly so when I try to sit up only my left arm moves ad I am pushed off the bed.

"Oof!" I wheeze as the cold ground comes into contact with my back.

Everything spins as a head peers over the top bunk.

"Ruby?!" I enquire excitedly.

"No Glenn," A familiar voice answers.

"It's me." She says as she jumps down off the top bunk and hovers over me.

"I can't see anything properly, the world is spinning." I groan.

"Well I'll give you a hint; my name is Clover and i'm also your sister."

"What!?"

"Calm down or you'll make yourself vomit."

"Where's Ruby?"

She grabs my arms and sits me upright.

"Come to the cafeteria with me and i'll give you the odds and ends of what's happening while you eat some food and drink some water."

She grabs my arms and pulls me up to my feet.

We walk to the cafeteria in silence and she sits me down and gets me breakfast.

"So you and Ruby are having a kid?" She asks as she hands me a bottle of water and a plate full of egg and beans.

"Yeah, she's amazing."

"I found you because you were screaming her name in your sleep." she continues.

"Yeah, she's gone isn't she?"

"Well I saw the truck as it left and it was headed right at the end of your road. Didn't see the driver real well but he had an eyepatch."

"Why are we here then?! We should be out searching for her!"

"Calm down idiot, Michonne, Rick, Carol and Daryl went to get her, the tracks went all the way to the road and they could follow them easily." She says taking a sip of her own drink.

"So how did you get here?" I ask as I start to eat.

"Well when it started I on a road trip to D.C with some of my friends and then we stopped at a gas station, I went in to use the restroom and when I got outside a herd was passing through so the girl behind the counter grabbed me and helped me out and we've been travelling together ever since. Food started to run out because we circled the suburbs around where we started off but herds have started to join together and we've steered clear of them but we thought it was time to explore around see if there is anyone else so we were up here hunting and we found you. Her name is Esperanza, she's spanish. Her dad taught her how to hunt wen she was a kid and she is crazy skilled in combat." Clover looks at me closely and grabs my hand.

"Guess what." I tell her excitedly.

"What?" she giggles at my change in mood.

"If the baby is a girl we were already planning on naming her after you." I tell her as if it was a huge secret.

"Aw! What a kind tribute, albeit a little creepy." She laughs and punches me in the arm playfully.

"So do you know everyone, where's Esperanza now?"

"We got the last spare cell in this block cause of you and she's hanging out with the kids and teaching them stuff cause she likes to. And yeah I've met a whole bunch of people." She replies happily.

"Have you met Max? He's Ruby's younger cousin. He is an absolutely awesome kid!"

"Yeah I've met Max, he helped me get you up the stairs, carried your weight from the waist down, even when he is sick! Seems like a great cousin to have, he likes you a lot I think."

"How long have the others been gone?" I ask, unable to contain my worry.

"They left long before sunrise, for a surprise attack effect." She replies as she brings me in for a long, comforting hug.

"You'll love her when you meet her Clover, she's the best." I mumble into her shoulder.

"Reckon you've picked a keeper?" She asks.

"Yes."
