Glenn is too far away, I doubt he heard the cries for help.
The sounds draw me closer until I see Max leading a bunch of walkers away from a rock, on top of which a... Priest? I dont know but some religious dude is screaming like a baby.
"Shut your mouth." I warn him as I pull out my gun an took down the first two walkers, tripping the last.

Max jumps over the top ad takes the last one out.

I walk over and grab his shirt with my fist.

"If you ever run away again I will leave you. I made a decision so discuss it with me." I growl fiercely.

Max looks down in defeat and I pick him up and hug him tightly.

"I love you so much." I tell him.

"Hello?" The religious guy aka from behind me.

I grab my little knife out and point it at him.

"Who the hell are you?" I threaten cautiously.

"I'm a priest. My name is Gabriel Stokes. Please don't hurt me." He cries.

"How many walkers have you killed?" I ask, only to receive a look of confusion.

From beside me Max jumps up and down waving his arms ad growling in a walker impression.

"None. I've never needed to." He replies in a frantic manner.

"Killed any people?"

"Never, its against my vows."

I tuck the knife back in its pouch and walk towards him.

"Got a group, why are you out alone?"

"Ah no... It's just me, I've been running out of food so I've had to venture further for food. I have a church."

I stretch my hand out to shake his.

"My name is Ruby, this is my cousin Max." I tell him gruffly.

"Ruby? Max?" I hear Glenn yell from far off.

"Coming!" I call, gesturing for Gabriel to come as well.

Max jogs beside me as I walk quickly through the trees towards Glenn's voice.

"Who is that?" Gabriel asks worriedly as he struggles to keep up.

"My boyfriend." I tell him.

(A/N~ Are they married? Did I marry them? If you know please tell me because they aren't yet I think.)

Suddenly I see Glenn and the rest of the group in the clearing ahead.

"Hey look, another human!" I remark sarcastically in reference to Gabriel.

"Is he dangerous?" Rick asks immediately.

"Not to my knowledge, he's pretty seems alright." I say directly in front of him.

Rick walks past me to ask him questions as I bring Max to Glenn.

Instead of telling max off Glenn picks him up and hugs him tightly.

"You're almost as terrifying as Ruby." He laughs in relief.

I watch, smiling happily as I subtly try to hear Gabriel and Rick's conversation about the church he mentioned.

Rick wants to go there. The rest of the group I crying and hugging and the only one planning is Rick.

As much as I hate him and want to leave he is literally the only sensible person in times like this.

"So what do you reckon we do about this? Do we go to your church?" I ask Gabriel as I turn and walk towards them both.

Rick glares at me for trying to butt in during his planning but I keep going.

"How do we know that you weren't just using a clever gimmick to lure people in, that's what just happened to us. What if we killed you to save ourselves... what's stopping us killing you to save ourselves?" I press.

"Please don't, I promise I'm by myself." Gabriel says as tears well I'm his eyes from fear.

Rick is glaring in anger and I feel happy that I've made him so mad.

"Well if you try anything Gabriel I will personally murder you myself." I tell him.

He looks terrified as I walk towards him menacingly.

"So... Where is it?"
