'I feel like a bad guy right now.'
Will gazed upon the myriad skills and spells that had been launched at him. He felt that he was bullying these people, perhaps going too far, after all, they were his 'allies.'
'Then again they've probably killed anyone weak who got in their way.'
Will was no saint, but what was at stake was the survival of the planet. Instead of trying to parlay with Earth's other forces, there were people still playing a game of ' build the biggest empire.'
"Fuck that shit, ima make them piss their pants, besides, its fun to do a bit of face smacking."
Will stood there as the others attacked, and it was not a random movement. They moved in sync as if they had a tacit understanding.
'This is the movement of experts.'
Duke geeked out as he saw what was happening in front of him. Letty was in a similar position as well.
'Looks like I have to re-evaluate this planet's power, this level of skill isn't the kind a planet should have after only having the system for 5 years...'
Although the nine moved at roughly the same time, there was a sequence to their actions.
The first to take action was Taiga. He did not disappear like Will thought he would, he instead made some hand seals, which released a pulse of qi, into the air. Everyone from the empire knew that this was one of his trademark skills, Eyes of Orochi. It was an area of effect attack that temporarily blinded targets for a set amount of time. That time would depend on the opponent's strength. As far as everyone knew, if Taiga used this on someone of the same level, it would be effective for a least ten minutes. There was however a catch while using this skill, Taiga could not use any other skills of his. All he could do was move using basic combat skills. Hence he rarely used this technique, especially when fighting alone. The visage of an 8 tailed 8 headed dragon appeared behind Will. This was a sign that the skill was now in effect!
Will was perturbed but only for a moment. Aqua sense was now his main method of seeing the world, his eyes were closely becoming a secondary sense to him. Not to mention that Will could sense that he was bound loosely by this skill.
'If I use a little intent, I can break this, buuuut...lets have a bit of fun shall we.'
Will immediately clutched his face and shouted, "Ah! My eyes! Oh, the horror! The shame! I'm blinded! Please don't attack me for I have no way to counter this at all!" Will started rolling on the ground as he screamed in 'agony.'
Everyone was momentarily stumped by his actions. It was obvious that he was faking it! That was what everyone thought, but some were a bit overly cautious.
'Wait, what if he is really affected and doing this to buy time? I won't allow you!'. Merlin was not planning on wasting time so she shouted, "Woodsy!"
The next sequence was Woodsy. One of her legs had already turned into the roots of a tree and planted itself into the ground, while her right hand turned into similar roots that elongated and covered the skies, eventually forming 9 gigantic worms made from wood. The mouths of these worms had thousands upon thousands of teeth that were as sharp as any sword or blade. Each worm was far larger than Will's dragons, to the point where they were able to envelop the skies. Woodsy then raised her left hand while some lime-like energy spread out and enveloped each of her teammates.
Letty was quite familiar with all of these skills, as the Treant Warrior from her world was famous and his abilities well known. Nevertheless, he was still the undisputed champion of Eridium, and Woodsy revealed part of why that was.
'She first planted her foot into the earth, to gather wood qi into her body and strengthened all her skills by many folds. This is One with the Earth! An outrageously powerful buff skill! Then she used Wood Transformation to created those worms, who's life force rivals Will's dragons, thanks to the endless supply of wood qi from the earth, then at the same time took her own qi, converted it into pure life energy and distributed it evenly to all her teammates with Life-Share! Using these three difficult high-level skills within an instant and at the same time, this woman is a monster.'
Letty understood the severity of Woodsy potential at that moment. She had only considered Alexa and Ibrahim as threats as they had reached level 125, which required more than just killing lots of monsters and getting exp. Since Woodsy was an Earthling, Letty believed she couldn't utilize the Treant Warrior Class to its fullest, but she was very, very wrong. Not only did this fat woman have an incredibly rare and powerful class, but her technique and instincts were also good enough to match.
Alexa could not help but smile. Due to her massive size, most people couldn't accurately tell how old Woodsy was. Only Alexa knew that she was only a teenager and that she had only had her class for only a few years.
'This girl will definitely become a Supreme, all she needs is time to properly grow.'
Ibrahim was expressionless as he watched on, but he couldn't help but be impressed as well. He knew Woodsy was young and incredibly talented. His confidence in their team beating Will, despite his earlier display, was her presence! She was once a Supreme Candidate at the top of the list, but she suffered a life-threatening injury that slowed down her progression by quite a bit, resulting in her losing her Supreme Candidacy. Alexa and Ibrahim both believe that she could have been a Supreme by now if not for that.
'Buffing herself, using a complex skill and buffing her teammates in only a few moments, this fatty is truly a monster.'
The one most impressed however was Will. Earlier on he had gotten a dangerous vibe from her but he didn't take it seriously because her level was low and her intent revealed her lack of experience. However Will had one word for her. Genius!
