W3~Monday

"Ugh." I open my eyes to the sound of the alarm I set on my phone last night. The noise is traumatising and makes me feel uneasy. I switch it off and head to my wardrobe.

The sunlight blinds me as I look through the clothing racks to find my uniform. However today, instead of wearing the school skirt I choose the trousers just to switch it up a little.

Placing all items on the bed, I take my lazy self over to my bathroom. I glance over to the mirror observing every feature on my face. Insecurity takes over my mind as I touch my face with my bare hands. My brown skin seems to be smooth to the eye, but to my touch dry and bumpy. I don't know if it's due to the strength of my mind taking over reality or if my skin truly is not what it seems.

Picking up the soothing block of African black soap, i lather my face with it not forgetting my neck, where I seem to suffer some sort of hyperpigmentation. Dabbing my face dry with my microfibre towel, I open my cabinet to retrieve my witch hazel and cotton wool pads.

Now I take myself over to the big glass shower and place my commands into the iPad. Today I chose a steamy soothing shower lasting 10 minutes, since I have school in an hour.

As nice as showers are, they do bring a whole 'nother type of stress to me a.k.a DON'T GET YOUR HAIR WET!

My mind drifts off to a different place every time, however today it's all over the place. The thought of Moses climbs it's way through my mind gate along with Natasha's intentions. They're both suited for each other if you ask me. But hey!

Adrian and I are back on speaking terms and after my little slip up, he slowly forgave me properly. I can't believe I didn't think properly of my words, not only around him but in general.

The water falling from the shower head to the marble floor satisfies my ears taking me to a place of happiness. I switch the button of my shower to change the glass doors to a scenery of an aesthetically pleasing view of a mountain.

I've never really been one to be a nature crazy person but I do love the beauty of little parts, not just any kind, but scenes which are different.

I lather up and rinse finishing off my shower, then push open the glass door switching the scenery button off to return to a normal glass shower.

Wrapping a soft light blue towel around my body, I slip into my bedroom and apply my cocoa butter lotion. The smell compliments its skin with its chocolate appeal. Not that I like being referred to chocolate, I can't just dismiss it though.

With that done, I put my uniform on making sure I don't have any holes in my trousers and everything is ironed. I sit down at my vanity table and apply cream, eyebrow pomade, mascara and lipgloss to my face along with Vaseline to illuminate my facial features.

A buzzing sound hits my ear causing me to peer down at my phone... a call from Adrian. Lovely, whilst I'm in the middle of sorting out my hair. I braided it out cause my indecisive self couldn't choose if I want to wear my wig today or do something with it. And with 30 minutes to school I need to make up my mind.

I answer the call, putting his voice on speaker.

"Morning, Toffee." I smirk to myself whilst removing my bonnet. Ooo damn when the wind from my fan hit my scalp- the best feeling ever.

"Morning, sprinkles. So you remember what I told you yesterday?" He says with a husky voice as if he only just woke up. Shivers I'm telling you- shivers down my spine.

"You said a lot yesterday."

"Wow! You forgot." He huffs.

"Well tell me then!"
