" They want to test me." My voice trembles over the phone.

"You okay... sis?" Sarcasm rolls off her tongue.

"They want to test me." I state firmer than before, hoping it gets through her thick skull.

I've called her a few times and instead of being the older sister one would admire and look up to- she's the complete opposite. Every minute she gets she makes sure to irritate me somehow. I don't know how it's possible but as mature as she may sound and look she's still a little irritant within.

"I can't help you." She blatantly says, ending with a yawn.

"But you said you'd help me." My eyebrows furrow with anger rising. Before I had gotten know her relation to me, she acted very kind and generous; however now that I know her jealousy shines though her words and actions. I suppose it's understandable... I get to grow up privilege whilst she has to hide in the shadows.

"Well I can't, by-"

As quickly as she tries to cut me off, I do the same with interrupting her, "Wait."

"What..." She groans drawing out the word. Surprisingly when angry she sounds like Ma... I wonder if that's the same for me.

"Why?"

"Why what?" She grumbles.

"Why do you hate me now? Why do you not want to help me? Why?" I pant clearly irritated with her obliviousness.

"I was fired last week after the announcement." She sighs.

"D-do you know why?" I gasp, shocked.

"Can you stop being so clueless?!" She shrieks, now showing her true feelings.

"Oh. It's because you're Blasian, isn't it?" My mouth shapes an 'o'.

"No shit." She huffs under her breathe.

"I'm so sorry, Ari."

"Whatever. Just try to keep the boy off your mind."

"What?"

"Stop thinking about him now, so that when you're tested there's a less likely chance you'll tell them."

"Thank y-" Before I get to finish my word, she cuts of the call. What am I to expect though?!

I turn to meet a pair of forested dark brown eyes staring into my own. The curiosity in his eyes prances around in the highlight of his pupil. It's kind of cute, but it's not what should be on my mind right now. His hands clasp together with eyes now stuck on the green grass, as he impatiently rubs them together, making the sound a fire-maker would produce. I grasp his hands with mine, causing him to stop and look back up to me.

"What did she say?" His voice shakes with his Korean accent laced between his words. Of course he'd be anxious, after all he heard my reactions to her words.

"You have to leave."

"W-what?" He trembles almost in a breathless manner.

"I need to try to stop thinking about you before the test, so there's less of a chance of slipping up." I sigh with my eyes now attached to the ground.

"How will that even work?" He questions, raising a brow.

"That's all she said to me."

"Aish! What kind of help is that? You can't erase me like a character in a piece of artwork. Jagi, how do you believe that?" Despite how harsh his remark started, the gentleness restores itself at the end.
