Week3~Tuesday and Wednesday
Today has been different. I haven't felt this excited about school since this day. Now you may believe I'm overexaggerating and speaking nonsense just because I made one new friend. But I'm not.
Going to school always felt... normal. I would wake up, get ready, head to school, spend time with Mel, then get back home. Everyday was a default. The same old on repeat.
However today... it was different. Spending time with Adrian was amazing. Despite not being able to talk as freely, the company is enough to keep me content. Talking to Judas was also great, he is definitely one to relate with. He's a good talker and a good listener but amongst all he's beyond funny.
Lunch and breaks felt like a split second. We were all just talking and debating to no end.
I turn the silver door knob of the grand door. Stepping in feels like walking right into a parallel universe. From the outside, where I'm known by most in my school into a house of loneliness. I haven't had anybody since my brother left for uni.
Setting my keys on the marble sideboard and placing my shoes in the shoe room, I make my way to the kitchen fridge.
I stare at the contents in search of something to eat. I swear, I'm standing here looking at the same damn food like twenty times. And the fact that I know nobody is going to be home till tonight....
"There ain't nothing in this huge fridge... the fudge!" I groan to myself.
"We'll get takeout." A familiar voice says.
I run up to the figure who the voice belongs to , wrapping him in my arms.
"Why are you home?" He hugs me back.
"I told you school ended last week." We part from the embrace.
"But I thought you have that trip with your friends and were coming next week." I raise a brow.
"After last term of exams, I really don't have any time or energy to go on that trip. So I decided to come home instead." He shrugs walking over to the drink fridge and retrieving an orangina.
"Awww you missed me, didn't ya?" I chuckle at my brothers words.
"I didn't come here for you." His eyes widen realising what he said as if it's a secret meant to be kept.
"Who's the girl?" I smirk sliding onto a barstool.
He opens his mouth, shortly closing it in an instant.
"Don't even try to lie." I raise a hand and shake my head.
"It's just some girl. Calm down!" He laughs.
"Name?"
"Nunya!"
"Shut the frick up!" This boy acts like I don't know that trick.
"Baby Fav still doesn't curse." He cooes, causing me to get up and head over to the staircase.
I still have term exams to properly study for and they're just a night away. Obviously I've studied everything taught to us in school, but everyone knows that what they teach you in school is not the same shit in the exams. Especially science.
I grab my laptop and place it on my white desk ready to cram all the nonsense required.
The night went on for hours upon hours and at this point my head is pounding after the workload I just stuck into my head.
The pinging of my phone goes off causing me to look away from my books. I'm done! I've done enough to be ready for the next two days.
Looking down at my phone, I pick it up and check my messages. I mean... I check his message.
