W1~Friday
Both family's gathered around the island with plates in hands as they serve themselves in a clockwise position. With me being last of course, because I have to be what- the respectful daughter of the family. Once I finished serving myself I walk up to the table to take my seat.
And guess what... I have the honour to sit next to the one and only Adrian Chi, who doesn't really like me, along with my older brother on my other side. Perfect!
The meal went smoothly. By that, I mean the parents talked, drank, and made fun of their children right next to them. But personally, I was bored, no one spoke to me, and Adrian was quite quiet.
All of a sudden, Adrian taps my leg causing me to jump. I look at him confused, "What?"
"Can we go somewhere else other than watch them drunk talk? Plus, I don't want to be there when they pull out baby pictures. Dear God." He whispers into my ear.
I move my head back and focus on his face smiling.
"Aww, are you embarrassed of your baby pictures?" I pout whilst covering my mouth with both hands.
"Are you kidding?! I was fine as hell."
"Yup, I'm sorry you lost all that as you got older."
"HaHa." He fake smiles.
I dart my head towards my father.
"Daddy?"
"Yes Faviola." He looks up, chuckling.
"I was just wondering if Adrian and I could be excused from the table." I chew on my lip, hoping for no questions.
"Go ahead." He waves his hand, going back to his conversation laughing his head off.
The two of us rise to our feet, with our plates in hand heading towards the kitchen.
"Just place it in the sink, I'll come back to that."
Instead, he chooses to ignore me, turning on the tap and washing mine and his plate. I smile as I watch his body leaning over the sink, fist clenching onto the sponge, veins exposed.
Okay... but why did no one tell me that hands is the only thing needed to turn me on!
Once he finished off, I asked, "So what did you want to do?"
"Be alone." He said with no emotion.
My smile faded and I tried to hide my own emotions.
"I- yeah if you want you can go to the library."
"Where is it?" He rolled his eye.
I kept quiet leading him through the hallway and into a room on the left. Wait, why did I even show him to my favourite room. Like I know it sounds geeky, but I'm a sucker for reading, I'm pretty sure 3/4 of the books in here are mine.
He enters looking around as I turn to leave. But a strong arm pulled me back into his chest.
"I was kidding Viola." He smiles, dragging me to the huge beanbag.
"Wait what? You hate me though." I stop him in his tracks.
"Not hate." He bursts out laughing. "I don't mind your company. Also we could talk more about the project."
Adrian sits down on the beanbag, smiling.
"I'll just grab a chair." I turn but he grabs my hand, pulling me down to the same beanbag he's on.
Oh. Oh!
"This beanbag is big enough for two of us." He chuckles.
Ok, this is not like him... to laugh and smile at the same time.
