W3~Tuesday

"Wassup." I wave at Adrian and Judas as Mel and I get near their table.

Arian's eyes twinkle and a small smile plants its way onto his lips.

"Hey." The two of them chorus whilst Mel and I take a seat on their table for four.

Adrian reaches into his bag and pulls out a piece of paper from a folder compartment. Oh... so he likes to organise himself?!

He slides the sheet across the table in front of me. Reluctantly, I pick it up and scan it for any mistakes or in case he tricked me and wrote the last page set for failure. However it's actually really good, and he seems to have worded it alike to my other pages.

A smile spreads across my face, "Thank you so much!"

Judas and Mel exchange looks between themselves and us. This shit is weird... it's as if they can talk between each other through expression and they hardly even know each other.

"Ok!" Judas claps, "Now the two of you need to explain what just happened, cause I feel like I just skipped a whole chapter in this story."

I start to smile even wider, trying to hide the fact that he actually wants me to answer his question.

"Ok look, I did not sign up to sit with any creeps today, so either you two explain what transaction just happened there or me and my dear friend Judas here will leave."

'Dear friend'? Now I think I'm the one who skipped a whole chapter.

"Since when did you two become friends so soon?" I chuckle, knowing that Mel doesn't make friends easily due to trust issues.

She believes letting too many people in creates more ways for secrets to get out.

"Since she read my mind." The two of them laugh like old friends whilst Adrian shrugs.

"I just did her homework last night, so gave it to her."

My eyes... when I tell you my eyes almost pop out of my head. It's far from a lie.

This boy ruined the whole high school film feeling. We were supposed to have a low-key relationship no one expects and then poof. Yes biatch... I know I live in a fantasy world. Leave me alone.

"Awww, that's cute." Mel cooes then bursts into laughter with Judas. I roll my eyes and raise an eyebrow towards Adrian to which he silently chuckles to.

"Wait, so do you two have some thing going on or something?" Judas leans in slightly bringing closure to the table.

"No, we're just friends." I smile at him. Internally rolling my eys.

"Talking about friends, how did you and Christian meet?" Mel raises her eyebrows glancing at Adrian and Judas.

"Well," Judas takes a deep breaths. " I sit next to him in Math class and since he was new I introduced myself. I know how it feels to not be accepted by an entire school and I didn't want him to feel the same way just because he's not black. It's uncalled for!"

At the start of high school, Judas used to be on the basketball team. A year went by and he started understanding who he is and since he felt the team was like a second family, he came out to them first. However they ridiculed him and before you knew it almost the whole school found out at the end of the day.

In this school he's the only one who openly admits he's gay and despite there being others hiding their sexuality, he's the one who came out first and gave others some form of hope. If I'm being honest I feel like history is rewinding. People here don't like difference... but without difference how do you truly develop a messed up society.
