Week 10- Monday

"This is stupid." I roll my eyes , slamming the stapled pages down onto his desk.

Swivelling around on his chair, I bring myself face to face with him sitting on the four poster bed. I massage my temples as I stare at his saddened face then back at the scattered stack of revision notes. Studying has always been pretty simple for me, but for this exam I can't seem to focus. I press my head onto the spread of notes, as if by doing so I'd memorise everything I need.

"Why are you so worried? It's not a big test." Adrian stifles a yawn between his words.

"Haven't you heard the rumours going around?"

"Educate me, Jagi." He lets his body fall back onto the bed whilst I stare up at the ceiling.

"What we learn in class is only a small percentage of the exam. I was confused with why we have to sign an application form about not speaking about the test. At first I believed it's so that no others can cheat, however now I'm wondering if it's because the test is not something people are supposed to be mentally prepared for."

"What could be that bad?"

"Our personal views." I mumble under my breathe, reciting the words, slowly understanding what's going on.

"I don't get it still..." Isn't this boy supposed to a top tier student?

"Our views on society. We are tested on our opinions."

"For the experiment." Adrian sits up, eyes wide and mouth slightly parted.

"Yeah... didn't they say they're getting our take on the experience to determine the end result."

"Think about it? The health exam is supposed to take place at the end of the year, but instead it's two weeks before the announcement." He says.

"What do we do?" I remove my eyes from the ceiling to his eyes.

"We take the test." He pulls me towards him by my legs.

"No, but do we support the mix or not?"

"We support it, don't we?" He smiles like a little girl talking to their crush. My oh my!

"We do... but they don't."

"When did we start listening to others?" I bite my lip, understanding what he's implying.

"Right." I nod my head moving my eyes around his room.

"So, have you finished studying?" He beams with a high spirit.

"How do you get A's, you're lazy as...?"

"I'm naturally smart, sprinkles."

I shake my head at his cocky remark and turn back around to his once organised table, now covered head to toe in notes. Picking up all pieces of paper at once, I force them into a neat pile on the corner of the desk. Finally, I get up from the chair and slam my body down onto the bed besides him.

He rolls over, so that his body is literally suffocating me. I mean, yes I like being around him, but this boy knows how to invade space. He nuzzles up against my neck, making himself comfortable, as I bring my hand up to his hair running through every black loc.

The smell of a strawberry scent meets my nose, reminding me of my favourite ice cream flavour. If only I could go to Lee's. Small peaceful humming sounds escape his lips, making me giggle slightly.

"You're so cute, toffee." I whisper into his ear.

"Sure."

"What's the time?" I yawn.
