W2~Monday

As the weekend went by, my mind kept flicking back to the moment Adrian and I had Friday night after his little confession. I admit it wasn't much he told me, but from that moment on we spoke more about our lives and shared a few laughs here and there.

It's Monday.

The worst day of the week, I swear. There's nothing exciting to look forward to. The day is long. Homework is due. But today, I have something to look forward to. Someone to look forward to.

I think.

Finally, I get out of bed, pick up my towel and walk over to my bathroom. Hanging up the towel on the rack, I strip off my PJs and step into the shower whilst turning on the tap.

10 minutes later, I walk out of the shower drying my body with my towel and applying my cocoa butter lotion all over my body til I glistened in the sun hitting my skin from the bathroom blinds.

I walk back into my room and slip  on my black underwear set and school uniform. For me, I prefer getting dressed before doing my hair when I have braids in. Probably because getting dressed is a higher priority than styling my braids.

After applying simple makeup with the addition of an eyeliner wing, I put my hair into two space buns leaving the back out.

After looking at my presentation once over in the grand standing mirror, I grab my handbag, spray some vanilla perfume scent on and make my way downstairs into the kitchen.

"Morning all." I greet my parents  and pick up an apple from the fruit bowl, as they greet me.

"Mel's outside, she offered to drive me to school." I inform them.

"Does she even have a licence?" My dad lifts his right eyebrow up in a questioning manner.

"Yup, she finally got it on Friday, so she can drive the car her parents bought on her 18th." I kiss them both on their cheek and make my way to Mel's black BMW.

"Damn girl, this car is fire. You're luck lucky." I glide my hand along the shiny black vehicle smiling, finally hopping in.

"I know. You better get a car soon. We really could be twinning or something." I smirk at her future fantasies.

"You think money grows on trees? Yes, I want a car. But I know my parents will make me work for it." I roll my eyes.

"Then you'll work for it."

"Sisss." I snort at her.

"Who are you dressing up for?" She glances at me quickly, as she steps on the accelerator in direction to school.

"What?" I look up at her.

"WHO are YOU dressing up FOR?" She emphasises her question.

"No one?" I lift up my drink taking a long sip.

"Who went to your house on Friday?" I spit out my drink and start coughing. Ok, but I don't remember telling her about Adrian and I.

"Bitch, don't choke in my new freaking car." She scowls at me.

"S-Sorry, I-" I take three deep breathes in and out in hope of re-gaining stable breathing. "It was just my dad's business colleagues."

"Anyone you know?" She looks at me calmly.

"Uh- I-I d-don't-"

"If you don't tell me now." She said through her gritted teeth, hands clenched on the steering wheel.
