Adrian's POV
W2~ Monday
*flash back*
"Hey, I don't think we've met." I turn around to see a girl who appears to be a mix of Oriental and black, smiles up at me.
"Nope." I nod about to turn back around. I understand I shouldn't be stand-offish to people, but I know exactly what she wants from me.
The short girl walks around to stand in front of me quickly, which almost makes me laugh but I manage to contain it.
"I'm Natasha." She holds her hand out. Who even does that? It's 2085... geez.
"Adrian." I connect my hand with hers and shake. Now I can't tell if she's an innocent teachers pet or a girl trying to suck up to me.
I observe her whole look, quickly. She has what seems to be a full face of makeup, which i guess isn't bad, but for school I think it's too much. She has her hair in a curly bun and her skirt- dear lord forgive her... where is it? She's also wearing big hoops.
Faviola on the other hand doesn't need any of it, she looks so fucking good everyday. Why am I even thinking bout her?
"Have you met the other Orientals in this school?" I shake my head, holding back the urge to roll my eyes.
"Great, I'll take you to them." She smiles once again, tugging at my hand whilst leading me into the cafeteria to a table full of... my own kind.
Lavely.
Most people on the table seem to be eating something. Hell, watching them eat makes me hungry.
"Guys stop being so fat!" Natasha slams her hand on the table, catching everyone's attention.
"This is Adrian, I'm sure you saw him around last week, make him feel welcome." She said that as if she's grouping me into a social class with default. As if.
The table welcome me, with smiles and 'hi's. They seem nice, but not my type of people to hang out with. I usually go for one or two people, who aren't so invested in only school or... yeah school. Don't get me wrong, I'm smart and all, just not a typical Oriental boy.
"Nice to meet all of you. I've got to go." I announce, waving the group goodbye as I turn on my heel in direction of the library.
"Wait!" Natasha calls out. Bitch.
"What?!" I turn rolling my eyes.
"You- You." she starts.
"Yes?" I sigh.
"You have something on your face." I was about to leave it and sort it out myself, but I see Viola about to open the cafeteria doors.
"Could you sort it out for me?" Just to irritate Viola's thoughts even more.
Natasha smiles, "Of course!"
Desperate much.
The short girl steps on the tip of her toes to reach my face. I can feel her wobbling and lose balance, so I wrap my arms around her waist to keep her control. I watch Viola contemplate her decision, so to make it more interesting, I close my eyes. I can already tell it looks like Natasha's touching me in someway from her direction. I open my eyes, forgetting that the girl is actually trying to get something off my face which was 'definitely there'. But she's gone.
With that, I remove my arms from Natasha's waist, thank her with a perfect smile and walk away.
Turning corners in this school I finally land in the library and head to the back where I know she'll be sitting.
"Viola." She looks up to my voice.
"Uh-huh." She looks back down to her phone, giving me minimum attention.
"Faviola. Look at me." I meet my eyes with hers.
*flash back over*
The sound of a crisp packet crinkling attacks my ear. It's her. Shit.
I stare at her emotionless, not really knowing what to say, how to act, what to do. Natasha starts grinding on my lap looking at Viola with a smile on her lips. To which she looks at us both and gives us a tight smile.
Great.
"Get off me." I mutter.
"I know you enjoyed it." She smirks.
"Natasha get off. I'm gonna tell Miss Stevens to get you a new math tutor cause I really can't do this shit."
"Oh c'mon, just cause your girlfriend saw." She rolls her eyes giggling.
"She's not my girlfriend. But if she was, do you really think it'd be appropriate for you grind on her boyfriend." I pack up my stuff.
"No No. I'm sorry. I'll listen to you and work for you." Dear God, she sounds like she wants to give me he-
"Ok but one more thing and I'm out of here." I say sternly as she removes herself off my lap.
*Fast forward to present*
"Fuck you, Adrian Chi." Viola whisper shouts, stomping out of the classroom. I deserve that.
I sigh, regretting every single word of which left my mouth. I pack up my bag and walk over to 5th period. Math.
I can't believe I was so heartless towards her. I don't even like Natasha. She annoys me to hell and back, but I was too petty agree with her. Viola is literally the only genuine person I've met in this hellhole. Well apart from this guy called Judas. Other guys haven't really acknowledged me and the girls are the opposite, flinging themselves onto me.
I pushed away the one person who generally cares for me. The one person I genuinely care for, but won't admit to her face. She takes up most of my thought time... and now she's gonna take up even more.
"Adrian. Please answer the question?" The teacher boomed.
A/N
