W14~ Wednesday

"Why are we doing this again?" I groan, rolling my eyes.

The water hitting the ceramic floor creates the pitter patter sound rain makes. The steam making it harder for me to breathe is similar to the intensity I'm the steam house.

"Don't ask questions!" Ariella shouts from behind the bathroom door.

A whining sound leaves my lips whilst I scrub off every inch of dirt for the hundredth time. I don't know if she expects me to peel off a layer or skin... but she keeps telling me to get back in.

I understand we should be cautious, but driving out into complete nothingness is a bit extreme if you ask me. For crying out loud, the four of us are in a cabin in the middle of nowhere.

Minding the small step, I climb out the shower.

Wrapping a towel tightly around my body, I push the door not caring if she's behind. I'm sure I've been in here for just over an hour, at the very least and if I stay any longer who knows?!

"Hey!" Ariella squeaks, sounding like a pinched child.

"Where are my clothes?" I hold my hand out in front of her.

"They're outside." Her face looks bland as always, just like the cold hearted bitch she is.

"What the frick?! Go get them for me." I snap.

"Wear this for now. Then I need to check your eyes."

Before letting me protest or even question, she slams the door in my face. I stare down and the joggers and white oversized t shirt. I mean... I hope they fit. If it's the same size as her clothes, it'll probably be tight seeing that she's more on the skinny side, whereas I'm standing here with my newly produced food baby.

"Dear gosh." I sigh and slide on the baggy joggers. Surprisingly they fit- tighter than designed, but comfortable enough. I pull the white shirt over my head, fitting as expected.

"Are we having a barbecue?" I sniff the air, standing at the open bathroom doorway.

"Follow me."

Hesitantly, I walk down the grim hallway and down a set of stairs leading to...

At the bottom, a dark brown, rough looking door stands it's ground. The several bolts attached restricting anyone other from the owner from entering, has a rusting gold dullness proving its age.

"Are you-?"

"Shut up and lie down once I open the door." She interrupts me, unlocking all four locks and heaving the door open.

"Will you tell me what's going on?"

"Just do what I say! Is it that hard for you?"

With that, I let my feet take over, as I quickly scoot into the room.

Damn!

This is not just a room... that's an understatement. In fact, it's a lab you'd expect to see in the same hospital I came from. What does someone even need this place for? I guess it's exciting and practical, however the electricity bill must be high.

Blue lights illuminate the room from all angles. Buzzing monitors break the silence, standing by the two hospital beds. CCTV machines line themselves against the walls. I never expected something this extreme for a small cabin in the middle of a forest no one has much interest for.
