Chapter 19

The next morning, the friends decided to meet up early to catch the train. As they approach the train station they spot someone who looks exactly like Damon but they ignore it. They come to regret it later. For now they make jokes about it and board the train. 

It takes a good hour to get to their destination. As they leave the train they all get hungry so they go to a near by restaurant before heading to Mia's and Tori's parents. Al tough it is not far, they didn't want to cause them trouble of cooking for such a big group. 

As they get to Mia's and Tori's parents' house they are already standing there ready to greet them. As they are greeted, Harvey, Phil and Syn introduce themselves. They all get invited inside the house. The whole group is catching up until they hear a knock on the door.

"Girls did you invite anyone else?" Phil asks. Mia and Tori shake their heads no. Everyone looks at each other confused. Harvey offers to open the door. The parents nod their heads and Harvey walks over. 

"What are you doing here?" Harvey asks in shock as he sees Damon in front of him.

"Came to see the mother of my children." Damon simply states. Mia walks over and questions what Damon wants. He says he wants to get back with her. 

"Maybe you want to come in and talk to all of us?" Mia's dad asks. Damon smiles and nods. As he enters Mia sighs sharply. 

As Damon is explaining that he feels the need to be his children's lives, Mia's father gets aggravated. Upon hearing this Mia runs off upstairs to her room and bursts out crying. Harvey runs after Mia to calm her down. The others stay downstairs arguing with Damon that he shouldn't be doing this.

"Mia is happy with Harvey so leave the poor girl alone!" Tori shouts. Their dad then grabs Damon's sleeve and walks him out of the door. At this point Damon is begging to get back with Mia. Everyone shouts at him to get out. Finally after a few exhausting minutes of arguing with everyone Damon storms out .

"Finally." Phil exhales sharply. Upstairs Mia is still crying. 

"I don't know what to do. I want my children to have their real father but at the same time you will be a better one." Mia cries to Harvey. He pulls her into a tight hug and tells her to do what she thinks is right for her and the children.

"I'll respect any decision you make." Harvey whispers. Mia continues crying for a little while longer. After a while Mia finally calms down and is ready to go see the others. Harvey walks her downstairs to the others.
