Force of love

Chapter 21

The breezy February evening, Tori and Damon met in a park near the campus. They planned this night since Mia and Tori argued during the Christmas break. Neither of them apologized so Tori decided to take revenge. 

"Still can't believe what Mia has done." Sighs Damon. 

"Let's forget about her tonight" Tori states as they enter the club.

The whole night was blurry for the pair but the next day Tori woke up in Damon's bed. As she was trying to remember something from the night before Damon woke up.

"I have the worst head ache." Damon whines. 

"Same." Tori sighs.

"Let me get you some medicine." Damon states and walks into his kitchen. Tori is still confused at what happened after they both got drunk. Damon looks calm on the outside but on in the inside the same thoughts as Tori is having are consuming him.

Damon hands Tori the painkillers and a glass of water. They sit on Damon's bed in an awkward silence for what feels like hours. 

"I'm going to get ready and go home." Tori sighs. Damon nods and backs her stuff as she goes to the bathroom to get dressed. 

Just before Tori leaves she gives Damon a weak smile. Damon smiles at her back and she rushes out of his room. As she thought it couldn't get worse, she saw Mia outside of her class. Tori tries to hide until Mia goes in which thankfully isn't too long later. 

Mia enters the class and Tori rushes past in case Mia sees her. Tori keeps running through the college so none of the others see her either. As she exits the college building she lets out a huge sigh of relief. She can now calmly walk to the train station without any suspicion. That's what she thought. 

As Tori is waiting at her platform for the train to arrive she spots Phil. That's when she started to panic again. 

'I have to blend into the crowd.' Tori thought to herself. She tried looking calm so she wouldn't attract attention to herself which seems to work. When the train arrives she rushes in to get on so she wouldn't see Phil. However, that day just seems to get worse and worse as it goes on.

The only empty seat on the train is beside Tori and Phil has no where to sit. Phil walks over when he sees an empty seat. That's when he spots Tori sitting there.

"Hey. It's been a while hasn't it." Phil smiles as he sits down.

"Definitely." Tori responds. They chat for most of the train ride. Tori finds out that Phil is going to see his family so he will get off on an earlier stop. 

As his stop comes he says goodbye to Tori. She can finally get some peace. The only other thing is to get back home without any suspicion which should be easy.

"How was the sleep over honey?" Tori's mam asks as she approaches the house.

"Good." Tori smiles and walks into the house. 

'Mission success' Tori thought to herself.
