Few days after the party both Syn and Tori are talking to a guy. Phil also found himself a lad at the party. He was the first one to bring someone back to the group which the others still joke about.
Harvey's and Mia's apartment decorating is near enough finished which they both enjoy. As everything seems to go as planned Damon decides to show up again as Harvey and Mia are food shopping.
"Now you're following us in the shop as well?" Harvey states sharply.
"Am I not allowed to eat now?" Damon chuckles. Mia and Harvey roll their eyes and continue with their shopping trying to ignore Damon's presence.
Suddenly in one of the aisles Damon shows up behind Mia.
"Actually there is one thing." Damon states. The grin on his face unsettles both Mia and Harvey.
"What d you want?" Mia asks. She tries to look confident and unbothered but her fear shows through her eyes.
"I want to see my kids." Damon replies in a chilling tone.
"Why?" Harvey questions sternly.
"To see whether they are part vampires after me or fully human." Damon replies. His tone still unsettles Mia and Harvey but it also shocks them as they didn't think to check.
Harvey and Mia agree but state very clearly that it is only this one time so he can check whether Darci and Mateo are actually vampires or not.
As Damon is examining the children Harvey and Mia discuss whether it could be possible. The both of them managed to forget about Damon being a vampire.
"Well Darci is fully human while Mateo is partly a vampire. It won't affect him much in his daily life though." Damon declares. Harvey and Mia sigh in relief. Damon smiles and then leaves their apartment.
Harvey and Mia go to look at their children as well. Indeed Mateo does look paler than Darci but it isn't too noticeable unless you were to look at them closely.
Syn and Tori come to visit Harvey and Mia as they were in the neighborhood. Tori and Syn look at Mia and Harvey carefully as they enter. The have seen Damon leaving the apartment complex. They could tell something happened in the apartment before they came in by Mia's and Harvey's face.
The pair didn't hide what happened and told Syn and Tori everything. Even they forgot about Damon being a vampire until that moment.
"Well at least it won't affect Mateo much which is always good." Tori sighs. The others agree.
