Force of love

Chapter 20

The next day everyone calmed down from the events from the day before. Mia was still a bit shaken up but she tried not to show it.

The group prepares food all day for the new years celebration the next day so they wouldn't have to worry much about it. The whole day has also been spent decorating. 

As soon as everyone wakes up on the chilly December morning, breakfast is already waiting for everyone downstairs. After breakfast the boys prepare the alcohol while the girls alongside Syn look for any last detail that they might have missed.

They all conclude that everything is perfect and start their celebration early. It wasn't long before everyone -besides Mia - was quite drunk. 

The next day, everyone wakes up with a massive hangover. They joke about it for a bit then start cleaning the mess they made the night before. After that everyone goes their separate ways to talk. Mia and Tori go Mia's room.

"Hey have you thought about the names for the babies yet?" Tori asks curiously. 

"No not yet." Mia responds.

"If its two boys I think Damon and Dylan would be nice." Tori states.

"Why Damon?" Mia questions. Tori shrugs.

"I don't know, its a nice name." Tori replies. 

"But you know what I've been through with Damon." Mia whispers. 

"I didn't mean to upset you I just like the name." Tori assures her. "Also it was quite nice of him that he came all the way here for you." Tori continues. Mia upon hearing this looses her cool and they start arguing. 

Harvey comes into the room and asks whats going on. Mia explains that Tori is taking Damon's side but Tori is saying that she is not on his side. 

"Ain't the children Damon's anyway?" Tori exclaims. Mia denies it and the argument goes on. Mia then grabs her stuff and storms out. Harvey apologizes and runs after Mia. 

Phil then comes in and asks Tori what that was all about. Mia's and Tori's parents soon join them so Tori explains. 

"I didn't mean to upset her but its still wrong to pretend that those children are Harvey's when they are clearly not." Tori cries. 

"We'll just have to wait and see what happens. I can assure you everything is going to be okay." Phil comforts her. 

Mia is at the train station when Harvey catches up to her. 

"Mia wait!" He shouts. Mia turns around clearly trying to hold back the tears. 

"I can't believe she would say something like that! She knows how bad Damon was for lying to me this whole time." Mia finally cries. Harvey hugs Mia and assures her that Tori only said it because she was mad. 

"She didn't mean it. I promise you. Let's go back." Harvey whispers. 

"I don't want to. I want to be alone." Mia sighs. Harvey nods. Mia's train then arrives and Harvey waves her goodbye. He then goes back to Mia's and Tori's parents house.
