Chapter 26

Few months go by with nothing out of the ordinary happening besides Tori has finally given birth to her beautiful daughter Rose. Also both Tori and Syn have found themselves someone. So did Phil. The friends all had their own apartments and houses which were all in the near by neighborhoods.

Everything bad from the past couple of months have disappeared from their memories. Until one day when Mia's children started growing teeth. Two of Mateo's teeth were really long as if they were vampires. That's when Mia remembered what Damon told her a few months before.

Harvey and Mia decide to go to a specialist they found to get his opinion. 

"It's nothing to worry about. He isn't a vampire in any shape or form. His teeth are naturally long. It happens." The doctor assures the pair.

"What can we do about them? We're worried that they are a bit too long and he keeps biting through his lip." Mia says worried.

"We can cut them down to make them a bit shorter if that's what you would like to do." The doctor replies. Harvey and Mia agree and the doctors proceed. 

It didn't take too long and they were able to go home right after. They thank the doctor and leave his office. 

"I think we mixed up the results with another patient named Mateo." States a nurse in a panic when the patients leave. The doctor looks at their results and it states that Mateo is a tiny bit of a vampire. As the doctor examines the results more closely he comes to the conclusion that the level of Mateo's vampire genes were not going to affect him enough to be worried about it.

"The level of his vampire genes are overshadowed by his human genes. This isn't going to affect him at all so there's no point of making the parents worried." The doctor declares. The nurse nods and they bring in the next patient. 

Harvey and Mia go to meet Tori and her new boyfriend Raphael in the park so the kids can play together. 

"What did the doctor say?" Tori questions. Mia explains everything that happened. 

"At least there's nothing big to worry about. Plus think Damon finally gave up." Raphael jokes. The others chuckle. Raphael knew about everything that has happened between Mia and Tori when they were involved with Damon. He still chose to be with Tori and protect her from a similar situation from happening and also because he fell for her as soon as he saw her.

"Do you want to go to the cinema with the kids tomorrow?" Harvey suggests before they all head home. The others agree.
