Nothing Is Wrong! Everything is A-Okay

Hey, author note before we begin! Thank you for reading this, I worked hard on it and I hope you enjoy it! Also, I made the mistake of having my girlfriend help me with the chapter titles (she made me say that, it was not a mistake, I'm glad I asked her for help).

Okay! On with the story!

"We have the day off!" Remus cheered, walking down the hallway with Roman. "We can go anywhere or do anything."

"Anything that is legal," Roman reminded him, "And we can't go anywhere without any guards."

"Pft, all you have to do is run faster than them and you can lose them easily."

"I'm not doing that, you can get yourself in trouble."

"Prince Roman! Prince Remus!" Patton called, chasing after them.

"Patton!" Roman smiled as Patton caught up.

Patton caught up with them and pushed his glasses that slid down back up, "There you are, I almost had a heart attack when I saw you weren't in your rooms."

"I'm sorry, Pat. I didn't mean to frighten you, Remus just pulled me out of my room to talk."

"Your royal highnesses, I do beg that you don't scare me like that again."

"Sorry my dear Patton," Remus apologized, "Oh, and you don't have to be so formal with us. You've known us since we were born, you're family."

"Just a habit. I heard you two had a free day today, what will you be doing?"

"I'm just gonna explore the town," Remus explained, "Maybe go find Janey? Or go to the beach? Or maybe to some woods? I don't know, we'll see where the day takes me."

"I might go to town as well," Roman mused, "but I don't want Remus to embarrass me so I'm probably going to go to a different part than him."

"You don't need me to embarrass you, you do that yourself. Though it is fun to embarrass you."

"Oh shut up. You're welcome to join me, Patton. Remus plans to ditch his guards so I'll let you take the easy twin."

"Well I'll be sure to assign the fastest and strongest guards to Remus then. I mean, I could handle him but I would rather take it easy today too."

"Okay then. First stop, the bakery!" Roman grabbed Patton's arm and pulled him along.

When they reached the doors, Patton told the guards to find Remus some strong guards and then Roman pulled him along to the stables.

Remus smirked and turned around before the guards could find him. He ran down the hallway and heard the guards behind him. He stopped next to the window when he felt he was too far to catch for the guards and climbed out, closing the window behind him.

He climbed down the wall, it was only two stories high where he was, and made it to the ground safely, sneaking towards the stables.

He knew exactly where he was going, he was going to meet up with Janus, his soulmate. The public didn't know about Janus yet, some would riot about one of their prince being gay.

The king, King Thomas, is gay himself. Remus and Roman don't know much about his soulmate, though Thomas has said his soulmate passed away. They tried to ask what color their soulmates eyes were but he would always answer vaguely, "It was the most beautiful color ever."

The thing about soulmates, you can't see the color your soulmates eyes are until you look directly into their eyes and they look directly back. It can't be a simple you look into their eyes and they're looking away, it has to be direct eye contact. Plus there can't be anything between each other's eyes, no glasses, contacts, fabrics, nothing. The rules the universe made are very strict.
