Children are Dumb

Okay so I have some excuses! I've been working on the sequel! I don't know how long it will be before I can get it out but hey I'm working on it! Plus I've had a writers block and I'm working on multiple projects right now on Instagram. Okay enough excuses time to get on to the story!

"Remus slow down!" a twelve year old Roman giggled, chasing him through the forest.

"Come and catch me!" Remus shouted in response, grabbing a tree to help him make a sharp turn.

"Remus be careful! If we get hurt Patton and Dad will get even more mad!"

The two princes had run off into the woods without letting anyone know, they did leave behind a note and it isn't too far from the castle. Though they definitely will get grounded for this.

"You're too slow~ You're too slow~" Remus taunted.

"I am not! You got a head start!"

"No, you're just slow!"

Roman growled and ran harder, Remus saw and laughed, trying to speed up. Remus turned around to see Roman and stuck his tongue out at him.

Roman pouted, but saw Remus was about to run into- "Remus! A hole!"

"Huh?" Remus turned around but didn't stop fast enough, he tripped and fell right into the hole face first.

"REMUS!" Roman shouted.

"Ack!" Remus tumbled down, his crown falling off. He sat up and rubbed his head, "Ow."

"Oh my god!" a voice in front of him shouted, Remus looked up. Another kid around his age sat in front of him, under a small hut he probably made. "Are you-"

They both froze as they looked into each other's eyes. Remus gasped as he saw green for the first time in his life.

"...okay?" the kid continued his question.

Remus took a good look of him, he wore a yellow beanie and a black jacket. His skin was tan and there was a small scar on his left cheek.

Remus tore his gaze from the kid and looked around, seeing the leaves are green and the grass is green.

"Remus! Are you okay?!" Roman asked from outside of the whole.

Remus snapped out of his trance and gasped. "Oh my goodness! You're my soulmate!" He pointed at the kid in front of him.

The kid jumped, turning back to Remus after looking at the dirt and trees around him.

"Woah..." the kid simply replied. "My name is Janus."

"I'm Prince Remus! And that's my twin brother, Prince Roman!"

"Hi!" Roman greeted, sliding down into the hole.

"Y-you're royalty!? My soulmate is a prince!?" Janus freaked out. "That's so cool! I-I can't wait until my parents hear about this!"

"Dad is going to be so excited!" Roman told Remus, shaking his soldiers.

"Patton too!" Remus added.

He stood up and walked over to Janus. Janus crawled out of his little hide out and Remus held out his hand to him.

"Come on! You have to meet my dad!" Remus urged.

Janus took his hand and Remus dragged him along.

"Do you even remember the way back home?" Roman asked.

"Of course, I'm not an idiot."

"Says the idiot."

"You're the idiot."
