"Virgil?" Logan called out, walking in a forest, "Virgil? Where did you go?"

He heard a scream and turned around. The scream belonged to- "Virgil! Where are you?!"

Logan sprinted through the trees, and eventually the trees melted into walls. The walls were made from stone, on the forest floor was a red velvet rug and on the wall was portraits of generations from one family. A family of hunters.

Logan froze, realizing where he was. He looked towards the painting right next to him. The cold black eyes stared back at him, a smirk on the owners lips. The plaque under the painting read "Samael Black."

Logan backed away and tripped, falling into the window behind him. The window broke easily and Logan felt himself slowly falling. He tried to grab something but he was already on the ground before he knew it.

He slowly sat up, out of breath and shaken up. He made sure he was in one piece as he tried to make sense of the place.

"Dad?" a weak voice called.

Logan turned around as fast as possible. Virgil laid on the floor, chains on his ankles, wrists, and neck, the back of his shirt was torn up and the scars on his back were open and bleeding heavily. A pool of blood was growing under him and Virgil coughed up blood.

"Virgil!" Logan screamed, getting up and running to him.

Virgil raised a hand to Logan, trying to reach him. "Help," Virgil begged.

Logan was almost there, just a few more steps and-

And Virgil was gone. Blood, chains and all. Logan froze and looked around. He has to find Virgil, he has to stop the bleeding! He has to save him!

A cold chuckle echoed and a chilling voice called, "He's mine."

Logan sat up in bed in a cold sweat. He was breathing hard and was trembling. He looked over to Virgil's bunk and sighed when he saw him sleeping, his chest rising and falling as he breathed calmly.

Logan rubbed his face as he calmed his heartbeat. He took deep breaths as he rubbed his eyes.

"Logan?" he jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see Patton, then quickly looked down. "Hey kiddo, what's wrong."

Logan snorted, "I'm 42, I don't think I'm a 'kiddo' anymore."

"Everyone's a kiddo to me. But that's not what I want to talk about. What's bugging you?"

"I just had a nightmare, everyone gets those."

"Yes, but it's not healthy to keep your emotions locked up. Do you want to talk about it?"

"I-I just need some fresh air." Logan put his glasses on and Patton helped him up. They both walked outside of the caravan. Kayda was sound asleep next to the caravan and Logan and Patton tried their best to stay quiet.

Patton sat down in the dirt and patted the spot next to him for Logan. Logan sighed but sat down next to him. Patton put his arm around him and Logan leaned into him.

"Do you want to talk about your nightmare?" Patton asked again.

"I had to find Virgil," Logan explained, "he was missing and I was in a forest. I heard him scream and so I was running to find him and then I was back in the mansion."

"Black's mansion?"

"Yeah, Black's mansion. I-I was terrified that Black might have hurt him, and then I fell through a window. When I hit the ground, I found Virgil. He was chained down and was bleeding out and he was going to die. I tried to get to him but then he disappeared and-and I woke up..."
