"No," Logan told Virgil, "We aren't going to do that."
"We can't wait here all day until sunset," Virgil argued, "It's a simple spell and it won't take too much energy."
"I know that is a lie. Turning, not only yourself, but four other people invisible as we try to sneak into Black's mansion? That will take a lot of energy!"
"Oh come on, if we just hold hands and run then it won't take too long to get there."
"Virgil the mansion is a mile away."
"Dad, please trust me, I'm stronger than you think."
"You passed out yesterday after just healing me!"
"That wasn't the only reason I passed out! I didn't just heal you, I also fought Black! With magic! I was firing fire at him non stop for several minutes! And then I healed a fatal wound and replenished your blood! Right after I fought with a sword for a while. Of course I'd pass out. But holding this simple spell for, I don't know, ten minutes tops, and then save my energy for later, then I'm sure I'll be fine."
"He'll be fine, Logan," Janus said before Logan could say anything else.
"Yeah, he's a lot stronger than he looks," Patton agreed. "Though, I'm sure we all realized this yesterday.
Logan sighed, "This spell isn't dangerous or hard, is it?"
"Nope, I promise we'll all be safe," Virgil swore.
"And we can finish the mission faster!" Roman added.
"I hope this doesn't backfire," Logan groaned, "Fine. Everyone get ready."
"Let's break into a mansion and save my soulmate," Janus grinned.
It took less then five minutes for everyone to get ready. Virgil held Logan and Roman's hand, Logan held Patton's hand and Roman held Janus's hand. Virgil repeated the incantation from the book and felt his magic spread onto everyone.
Everyone shuddered at the feeling, it felt like cold water was spreading onto them.
Roman opened his eyes and gasped, "Everyone's translucent."
"We should be invisible," Logan reminded them, "Did the spell not work?"
"It worked," Virgil promised, "We just look translucent to us, but to anyone else, we're not here. I practiced it a bit in the caravan."
"You were supposed to be resting!" Logan started walking towards the mansion, taking the lead.
"We can argue about it later, let's just hurry up."
They started moving faster and then started running. They've almost let go of each other on several occasions, but they luckily never did.
As they got closer to the mansion and the guards were nearby, they slowed down and tried to stay quiet. Logan led them to the back of the mansion. He remembered there being a cellar door that led to the dungeon.
They froze when they reached the back. There were plenty of guards surrounding the cellar door. Logan sighed through his nose, Black knew they were going to go that way. He didn't want to cause a scene or have the others waste their energy fighting the guards, and the cellar door was probably locked shut, so he led the others to the side of the mansion.
When they reached there, Patton whispered, "What now?"
Logan looked around, he saw the windows. "We'll climb in through the windows."
"They look locked from the inside," Janus pointed out, "And no way to pick the locks from out here."
"Then I guess we'll have to create a small scene. Janus, would you like to break a window?"
