Murder! Or, At Least We Want Murder

"Aw!" Patton cried when they finished the story, he had tears in his eyes and looked ready to attack someone into a hug.

Roman was already hugging Virgil tight and while Virgil looked annoyed about it, he wasn't exactly pushing Roman away.

Logan had taken his spare glasses off and was rubbing between his eyes to keep from crying at the memory.

Janus was wide eyed and simply responded to the story with "Huh, didn't really expect all that."

"I'm going to kill Black for hurting you," Roman swore, holding Virgil tighter.

"And now you know why I want to be the one to kill him," Logan told them.

"Okay the sob story is over, no need to be overly dramatic about it," Virgil told them.

"I'm being the right amount of dramatic about it!" Roman defended.

"That was horrible, kiddo," Patton commented, "Black is horrible."

"And I want to kill him for what he did to me," Virgil said.

"I'm killing him, you can burn his corpse," Logan told him.

"That's not enough for what he did to me."

"Virgil, not a day has passed that I wished I could have killed Black. I couldn't because I was more concerned about you back then, but now I have my chance to get revenge for you."

"You always told me revenge was bad."

"It is, that's why I'm doing it for you."

"If you think my PTSD kills you, imagine how I feel."

"Okay fine, how about this. Whoever can kill him first gets to kill him."

"So it's a competition?"

"No, our main focus is to find the prince and any other prisoners. Then we kill Black."

"So what your saying is, we free all the prisoners and then compete to see who finds Black first."

"No, don't make me forbid you from killing Black."

"You can't forbid me from killing Black."

"I can always ground you."

Virgil gasped dramatically, "You wouldn't. You've never had the guts to ground me."

"There's a first time for everything!"

"You've never been grounded before?!" Roman asked.

"No, I was a good kid."

"And you, Roman, were not," Janus told him, "But wanting to kill someone doesn't really make you a good person, Virgil."

"You would kill him too if he hurt you like he hurt me."

"Oh I want to kill him, he kidnapped Remus. But you and Logan are already arguing about it plus he almost killed Logan so I don't think I can. Not without Remus, at least."

"Yes we know, when you two are together you're unstoppable," Roman sighed.

"I'm guessing the only one that doesn't want to kill Black then is Patton?" Logan asked.

Patton played with his cardigan, "...Actually..."

"Oh come on."

"He almost killed you!" Patton defended, "I was so scared! I couldn't stop crying!"

Logan pulled him into a hug, "I am aware, you were still very upset when I woke up."

"Well aren't we just a group of murderous people," Janus commented.
