Ian POV

"I want you to go to the human plane and help this man." God said to me. We have been keeping a close eye on this man, Julian, but a fallen angel tampered with fate and sent a warrior to cause a rift between him and his boyfriends. It seemed to have worked but we'll put a stop to it and get him back on track.

Luckily for me, I was able to join the Marines under his command and I can't say or deny how attractive he was being so commanding. It's been a month since I've been here and that warrior has his hooks so deep in Julian but I also can't deny how attractive that human was.

"What are you doing here Ian?" I turned to see my brother.

"Fixing the mess you made." I glared.

"I helped him when his mates didn't." He growled out.

"You didn't give them a chance… you killed the angel of destiny and took it upon yourself to guide him to someone who wasn't even his mate. His mates are dying because they're incomplete." I was fuming. Julian would have had his mates but he caused them to drift.

Zeke was going to have Zander and Kaiden talk to him and he was going to give up Julliard. Collen had called in a few favors and Zander would attend an Alpha camp in Nevada and Kaiden would transfer to a different clinic, if he only gave it a chance but he just had to stick his nose in places he's not supposed to and sent in a fallen angel to brainwash Julian.

So now that all the damage is done, I need to somehow fix this mess…and deal with the fact I'm also his mate.

Technically guardian angels like me aren't supposed to guard people physically but I have to get him to have a reason to miss the others, I have to get him to remember why he loved them in the first place but how on Earth do I do that? I know nothing about him, I was assigned to another human, and father didn't give me anything to go on.

"Don't you mess with his happiness now Ian, he's happy for once in his life since his accident." I wanted to kill him for spouting lies but angels don't kill other angels without perfect reason.

"His happiness may be genuine but it's not fully real. You've seen how he looks at the pictures he's taken with his mates and they're missing. He has a hole in his life and he has no idea how or why. He has no idea what to do. " This was frustrating and he had no interest in helping me. If only I could convince him. He is afraid of our Father but He always lets him have his way with things. This situation for example.

"You don't get it, Seth is also his mate. If it wasn't for me he wouldn't have met him." Well, I feel stupid, if that was true then Father would have seen it.

"And I'm his mate also but do you see me fawning over him and trying to get him for myself?" We were at my house and I thank goodness no one can hear us.

"That's a lie, Angels don't have mates unless they're a hybrid." He was in denial and he knew he was in big trouble. One of our laws we're not to interfere with the grand design of things.

"Ever since Alexander was mated to Zander's father things changed. So if I were you I'd go to Father, for your punishment, you know He has no mercy if He has to come to you first." And just like that, he was gone and I pray I have enough time to fix destiny.

How do I get him to have a reason to miss our mates?  I can't have him shot again, that would be chaos.

I got it! I smile to myself and soon enough I watch my plan unfold looking out my window and watch as Julian goes to the Captain's quarters. After he was packed I erased all traces of myself because I knew he wouldn't be coming back here at least anytime soon.
