He's ok, Right?!

Kaiden POV 

Filthy mutts. I hate rogues. They hurt my mate and I killed them all. They begged and pleaded to say some guy told them Zander was keeping pups as hostages to absorb their power or some bullshit. Luckily Skylar was able to heal him and the pup. They’re ok now.

“Hello?” I answered my phone. 

“I felt the pain of one of you getting hurt, what’s going on?” I couldn’t help but smile. 

“Well hello to you too lover.” I sighed missing the sound of his voice. 

“Hi love, sorry. I almost got shot when I felt the pain and got a ride back here to base, leaving in the middle of my mission. Is everything ok?” I bit my lip wondering if I should tell him the truth.

“It was a rogue attack and Zander got attacked. He and the baby are fine though.” He sighed. 

“I really wish I was home.” 

“I know love, but you can’t give up after everything that we’ve been through. We’ll be ok.” 

“How is he now? Is he ok? How are the kids and the family? I want to know everything while I can.”

“He’s fine and so is the baby, and so is everyone else and we love and miss you.”

“I love and miss you guys too. I love you all.”
 
“We love you too.”

"I hate to cut this short but I need to get back out there, my ride is waiting but I had to call to make sure you all were ok. Give all my babies hugs and kisses from me and tell them I love them. I will talk to you soon on Skype when I get back, I don't know when though. I love you so much." He sounded like he was going to cry. 

"I will, our king, we love you too and miss you just as much." I said and fought hard to not let my tears fall. It is hard being without him.

I hope we can make it without him.

“Was that Julian?” I turned to see Zander in the doorway.

“Yes, he called because he said he felt the pain of one of us getting hurt, almost got shot when he felt it and left his mission to call. He had to go though and get back out there. He said he loves and misses us. What are you doing out of bed? You know Jaylen said you should be in bed.”

“I hate being in bed all day.” He whined and I kissed his pouting lips.

“I’m not having Jaylen after me.” I picked him up carrying him back to bed. 

“Now relax.” I smirked.

"Like I have any other choice." He is so cute when he acts like Gracie.

Just when I was about to walk out of our room Zeke walked in with Ian and Seth and he sighed and spoke. 

“I think it’s time I complete my transition.” He said and we looked at him and we all sat down on the bed.

"Can I ask why now after all this time?" I asked and he sighed softly.

"I know after I had my top surgery I felt like me, than we had Sebastian and with everything that has happened since, the boys, the new babies, Julian going on deployment, I just haven't had the time to focus back on me. I want to finish it and I made an appointment to go see my doctor to see what we can do to get it going." He said and he was right, we had a lot going on at once so yea, it's time he does this.

"Ok sweetheart, whatever you want, we're here. I'm sorry if you felt you had to put yourself on hold I guess would be the right word, we will do whatever you need, always." Zander said.
