Memorial Day

This is a special chapter for Memorial Day. Julian is still deployed. This is just something special for Julian from his family.

Zeke POV

"Hey, what are you up to?" Zander asked when he found me going through some old home videos.

"Just looking at the videos my parents taped when I was growing up. I was thinking of doing one for Julian, but a lot more professional. A crew and everything, I want him to feel like he was here celebrating Thanksgiving with us. We have a week until the babies are born so now would be a good time to do it, Thanksgiving is in two days." I said and he kissed my cheek and smiled at me.

"That is a wonderful idea. So, do you know anyone who can do it?" He asked and the triplets and Shane ran into the room.

"Yes, we can use the stuff from the AV class and have the teacher film it." Dakota said and we agreed. He and his brothers were gone as quickly as they came. We laughed and I rubbed my belly when one of the babies kicked.

"I agree little one." I said and chuckled when I felt more kicks.

"One of them is very active this morning." Zander said as he rubbed my belly too.

"Yea, it's surprising they are so active so close to their due date but maybe talking about their daddy got them excited." I grunted when I felt both of them kicking.

"Hey little ones take it easy on your mama." Zander gently warned them and I laughed, he thinks he's strict but the kids get away with murder when he watches them.

"Ok so we should go talk to the pack and let them know the plans for the video. I know my papa and dad's will help get things set up for it. I think we should start with the family cooking dinner, the prep work and the kids baking. We can maybe set up a small camera in the kitchen and film them without them knowing so they don't try to act and just be themselves. I think it will make for a better video for Julian."

"I love that idea. Ok lets go get to work!" I got off the couch and put the videos away with Zander's help and we went to speak to Collen and his mates.

"Hey boys, what can we do for you today?" Killian asked when he opened their door.

"Hey dad, we have something to run by you guys." Zander said and we went inside and went to the kitchen to find all of them.

"Sure son, what is it?" Collen asked and we sat down and told them about the home video idea we had.

"That is brilliant. We can help with anything you need. Just let us know when the boys are back with the equipment and I will go tell the Omega's that they can stop cooking because the Alpha family is taking over." Collen said and we left them to whatever they were going to do.

"Actually can I get help with the painting and decorations? I have no artistic talent, you all know that so any help would be great. I want a big backdrop of Thanksgiving things and hung on the wall from the ceiling to the floor in the grand dining room in the packhouse. I don't care what you do, just make it nice, please?" Zander asked looking at Calder more than any of his other dad's.

"You don't have to look at me like that son, I'll help." Calder said and chuckled when Zander sighed in relief.

"Thank you. Ok we should get going and tell the pack the plans and the kids. The boys should be back soon so if we see them before you do I'll send them over." Zander said and we left after I grabbed a banana and smiled when Callahan rubbed my belly.

Zander called a pack meeting and told them the plans for the video and everyone was thrilled to take part in it. Everyone loves and misses Julian so they are happy and willing to do anything for him.
