Sebastian POV

"Thayne, I need you man." I said to my best friend over the phone. He was in Paris for a fight and I knew he would drop everything to come home.

"My daddy died." I said after he asked what was wrong. He said he'd be here and after that I hung up and sat on my bed and cried. I don't remember much after that with the funeral for daddy and saying goodbye to my hero. He was everything to me and he died, saving my ass, leaving behind his mates and all my siblings and his grandchildren to live without him.

After my dad died protecting me, I about give up on life. He was everything to me and when I saw him land on that grenade to save me from the blast and taking his own life, I wanted to be in his place. He didn't deserve to die

It was hard telling my family I was leaving so soon after he died but I couldn't not go, it was my job and daddy wouldn't want me to put it off, he'd want me to continue on and celebrate his life even if it hurts like hell.

"Lancaster?" I heard my captain and looked up from my place on the ground.

"Have you been doing alright since your daddy?" He asked and sat beside me and handed me a bottle of water. It's nighttime and we stopped to get some shut eye.

"Sorta, there's days where I would still think he's alive and when something good happens I would want to call him when we get back but remember he won't answer. That's the hardest part, knowing he will never answer a call of mine again."

"He was one hell of a Marine, definitely one of the bravest men I ever knew. You are a lot like him. We served together a lot." I knew that daddy told me he and my captain served together and that I was in good hands with him as my captain.

"Yes, he was. He taught me everything I know. He started training me when I was ten years old. I owe everything to him, including my life."

"No you don't, he did exactly what any of us would have done Lancaster, don’t ever think otherwise. He would want you to live your life, follow your dreams and be happy. He always talked about you kids and always wanted what was best for you and for you to be happy. He is watching over you and them, smiling down on you and is always with you." He said and I knew he was right, everyone who said something like that to me was right but I still felt guilty and I always will.

"I know sir, thanks for the kind words. I'm gonna get some sleep, I'm tired."

"Me too, good night."

"Good night sir." He went to his spot and I laid back on the ground and thought of Liam, I miss him. Liam, the unexpected blessing I have grown to love.

Life definitely has a way of working out when you least expect it. I wasn’t planning on falling in love with Liam when I first saw him when my team and I rescued him. I didn't plan for him to weasel his way into my heart like he has but I am so glad he did. There isn't a day that goes by where he isn't on my mind. I meant what I said to him that I believe we're meant to be together because I, without even realizing it fell in love with him. We are even looking into moving into a bigger house, for our future family.

Liam had done some research for a way to get his testicales back and discovered a high tech lab that actually prints organs and they use your DNA so he contacted them and went through the producer to have it done. It took a few weeks from start to finish and another few for him to heal but he is happy with the results. We still haven’t mated but I have seen him naked and I thought he was beautiful how he was but he didn’t like how he felt, he wanted to feel like a man again and how he feels is important so I supported him and was there for him. Now that he is fully healed, I can’t wait to please him and make him cum down my throat. I will be home for six months after this mission so we will have plenty of time to have all the fun we want.
