Zander's date with Julian

Zander POV 

When Seth told me of his date with Julian I was happy. It was the perfect date for Seth because it was something he enjoyed doing but hasn’t been able to enjoy it lately so our sweet mate made sure he had a good time. I have no idea what he has planned for our date, he told me to dress casual and nice so I picked a blue button-up shirt that matched his eyes and blue jeans with cowboy boots. 

“Now that is an ass I love seeing in those jeans.” I heard Julian say walking into the room when I was fixing the pant leg of my jeans. I turned around and smiled looking at his outfit. He had on a navy blue button-down shirt with dark blue jeans and black cowboy boots. We went to boot city yesterday and we all got a pair of cowboy boots. The boys love theirs, they said they want to work on a farm or live on one so they can be like cowboys. I honestly love that idea, living in the country, just us, that would be the life. 

“You like what you see huh?” I asked when he pulled me into his arms.

“Very much so Zander, you look amazing.” He said and kissed my neck, his soft lips feel so good on my heated skin. I moaned softly as he kept kissing my neck and ran his hand up and down my back softly and I just let myself enjoy being in his embrace. 

“If we don’t go now, I won’t be able to stop and the whole evening will be ruined.” He said and I groaned, not wanting him to stop. We haven’t made love since the time we all mated before we left and my body is aching in need for him. 

“I know, so let’s go, love, where are we going?” I asked as he took my hand and we went into the living room, our mates whistling at us and the boys smiling with red cheeks. 

“You both look sexy.” Ian said and our mates nodded.

“Thank you, have a good evening everyone. We love you, we will be back late so boys, go to bed at ten, we have an early morning with the lawyer alright so make sure you get a shower before you go to bed and get some rest. I love you, boys. Have a good evening.” Julian said and we kissed everyone and said our I love yous and we left.  

“The place is kind of close so I thought we would walk and talk about whatever it is you want to talk about love.” Julian said and he put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to him as we walked. 

“Well, what is off-limits to talk about?” I asked and he smiled and shook his head.

“Nothing, I want to know how you have been feeling, what has been on your mind, what you look forward to when all of this is done.” 

“That sounds good, I’ve been feeling shameful honestly.” I said and he looked over at me.

“Why? You have nothing to be ashamed of Zander.”

“Yes, I do. I didn’t believe Shane and thought he was just using us. I didn’t believe a word he said until I saw those files and I have been trying to be better with him. I have missed you so much, missed this being alone with you the most. I’m sorry it took us so long to see how much stress you were under before we came back, I know I feel better having you close again. It wasn’t the same without you Julian.” I said and he stopped walking and held my head in his hands and kissed me, deep and with so much passion in the middle of the sidewalk with people walking on each side of us but we didn’t care, we love one another and showing it to the world, that’s our business. 

“Listen to my love, you're just looking out for your family and mates, you are the Alpha you are meant to be so don’t feel bad about thinking that. You were being the Alpha you were meant to be, you were protecting us just like I do, we just have different ways but there is no one wrong way or right way, as long as it’s done with love. I love you so much and I appreciate everything you do love and you are a wonderful father to those boys and our little ones, and to the babies on the way. I love our life, even if it’s crazy at times, I’m happy Zander and I don’t see how our lives could get any better.”
