Today's The Day!

Zander POV

Today is Julian’s going away party and we’re ending the night married. Papa took him out to do whatever it took to get him out of the house and to get him his suit. We told him it was a formal attire party and we’d all be wearing a suit so he better dress to impress. We even managed to get Jacob and his dad here as well as his men directly under him. I hope he likes it, we only had a week so it’s not as grand and lavish as I’d like but Jacob said he’d love it so that was good enough for us. 

“Jacob can you check on the caters please?” He nodded and I smiled. Seeing him and Aaron together warms my heart.

It was about one-thirty and I’m tired as hell. We had an eleven o’clock appointment with the photographers to take pregnancy photos and just family photos in general. We have some for the house and some for Julian to take with him. 

“You doing ok love?” Kaiden asked, rubbing my back.

“I’m fine, just trying to make sure everything is perfect for Julian. I want him to leave here and only remember the good times. I want to make this a day he’ll never forget.” He sighed. 

“Babe, don’t stress, it’s not good for you or the baby. He’s going to love everything about today, you heard Jacob.” I blushed. I still can’t believe I’m pregnant. 

“You’re right. It’s just that we’ve done so much wrong by him and I hate that it took so long for us to get to this point and I wish we could take it all back. He deserves so much more than what we’ve given him this week.” He nodded. We know we fucked up and now we just have to make everyday matter and worth it. 

“The cake is here lover.” Zeke said walking into the room. 

“How does it look?”

“ It looks just like him.” We had a cake decorator put an edible picture of Julian in his uniform on the cake. 

“Great and is the wedding cake finished?”

“Yup it is, a topper with all six of us and of course Julian is in his uniform.” Yes, everything is falling into place. 

“Kids are all dressed.” Ian said out of breath. Gracie probably put up a fight putting on her dress. She acts girly only when she feels like it and today is not one of those days. 
“Great, now we just have to wait for our king.” We all smiled and went downstairs and had everyone hide while we, along with the kids met Julian out front

“Well don’t you guys look mighty fine.” He smiled. He’s in a blue suit that just brightens his blue eyes even more. We wanted something that we knew would look hot on him. 

“You don’t look half bad yourself, stranger.” We smiled. 

“But enough of the flirting. We can save that for later.” Kaiden winked at our mate. 

“Put this on.” Ian gave him a sleep mask to put on and we guided him to the backyard.

“On the count of three remove your blindfold babe.” Seth said and we counted down and everyone popped out of their hiding spots. 

“I-I don’t know what to say.” and here it goes, we failed as mates again. 

“Do you not like it?” He had tears in his eyes. 

“I love it.” We all smiled and kissed him.

We walked him over to everyone and had the DJ turn the music up. 

This is how life should be. Happy and carefree. 

“Care to dance baby boy?” Papa asked and I smiled.
