Ian POV
"Boys, let's go, you're going to be late!" I yelled up the stairs for the boys. They come running down like a wild pack of wolves and they smile at me sheepishly and I shake my head and smile at them.
"Come on, your game starts in an hour. You should have been ready by the time we got home. What took you so long?" I asked as we walked out to the cargo van. We had to buy a bigger vehicle to fit at least one of us and all the kids.
"We had to correct some answers on a test before Mr. Cam would let us leave!" Dakota huffed.
"Ah well he is your teacher and your daddy said you need to keep your grades up so it's best you do your work so you don't have to worry about getting held back when the day ends." I said and they looked down. Julian has been gone for three weeks now, we just received word that he is safe and we got the address so I plan on taking them to go shopping for care packages for Julian and his men this weekend so we can send it Monday and hopefully they get it by next week.
"We did do the work, we actually did more than he asked of us but the extra we did was apparently wrong so he had us correct it, it wasn't even part of the assignment so I don't get why he had us fix it." Dillion said.
"Well if you do more than needed and it needs corrections you have to do it. You choose to do the extra work boys so next time, triple check before you turn it in that way you just avoid the headache ok?" I said and they nodded.
"Ok good, now when you three are in your uniforms I want pictures before you go on the field, daddy wants pictures of your first game before and after looks."
"Ok, we can even get the team in them." Dustin said.
"Perfect. Shane yours will be tomorrow for your game."
"Ok." We’re going shopping soon for the care packages, right?” Shane asked with excitement in his voice and his brother’s smiled and agreed with Shane.
“Yes, we all are going this Saturday and they will be sent out Monday so make sure you are home from the packhouse by noon so we can have lunch out before we go shopping.” I said and pulled into the school’s parking lot. They got out of the van and helped Gracie out and I got baby Seb and Brandon grabbed Gracie’s hand and we went to sit in the stands with my mates and sat beside Zander and he took baby Seb from me.
“Hey, how are the boys?” He asked and I chuckled.
“Like they are about to die of excitement. They were so pumped for their first game with the team.” I said and he smiled.
“I bet, did you tell them we need pictures?”
“Yes, they said they will get the team to join in so just have to wait for them to come out of the locker room.” I said and he nodded.
“Ok, how are you doing? I heard you had a busy day.”
“I’m ok, a little tired but I’m ok. How was your meeting with the pack in CA?” Zander was away for a few days to go meet with a newly formed small pack of about fifty wolves so far.
“Ok the pack is in need of some strict leadership. The Alpha and Luna are just horrible people, their children are scared of people and the baby, he’s by himself a lot that I noticed. I wanted to bring the kids home with me.”
“Well that would have started a war that we don’t need right now. Just try to help them if they let you, you can’t change how other packs run unless you take it over.” I said and he sighed.
“I know, I just hate that all those kids are living how they are. The Luna is so spiteful and mean to them, she didn’t even hide her distaste for the pack when I was there.”
