A Happy Start, A Bad End

Zander POV 

"No no no it's like this Koda." Gracie said to Dakota on the video we made for Julian on Thanksgiving day. Dakota was learning how to do a dance Gracie learned from one of her kid shows and she was teaching him. He kept messing up on purpose just to get a rise out of her. You can hear all the kids laughing in the background. 

"I give up, I can’t work with you!" Gracie pouted and Dakota picked her up and kissed her cheek.

"Ok I'm sorry, I'll do better. Show me again Gracie?" He asked and she made a thinking face and nodded. He put her down and he didn't "mess" up anymore. 

"Yay you did so good Koda!" Gracie praised him and he bowed.

"Thank you, thank you." The kids clapped like you do at a golf game and I couldn't help but laugh at them. 

"I think we should package the cookies we're making to send to daddy and his men." Dillion said when he took a tray out of the oven. 

"All of them?" Matty and Brandon whined and Dillion handed them one that was already baked and cooled.

"Well not all of them because they are good but most, they won't have a nice dinner like we will so a treat from home would be nice don't you think?" Dustin said and the boys nodded.

"Yes you're right. Maybe we can even draw them cards to go with the cookies." Brandon said and went to run off. Matty yelled wait for me and ran after him. 

After a couple more hours I was finally done editing the video with the boys help to send it to Julian when I got a mindlink that Zeke and Ian are in labor. 

"Babies are coming, let's go boys!" I got up and walked out of the room and they followed me. We were thankfully still at the packhouse, with them being close to their due date we decided to stay in the Alpha suite until they gave birth. My due date is next month, I don't know what the sex of the baby is, each time Jaylen would check the baby would hide it's front so we have no idea. I guess it will be a surprise which is fine, we have boy and girl things so I'm not worried. 

We get to the pack hospital and I hear my mates in a room so I follow their groans and scent. 

"Ok wow you both are close to delivering already so no time to waste in getting an IV since it will be pointless but I will do my best to numb you so it won't be too painful and your wolves/angel will help with the pain I'm sure." Jaylen said and I went between the beds and held both their hands. Skylar told me he did this because there is only one of him and he wanted to be there as best he could for his mates. 

"Squeeze as hard as you both need to, I'll be fine." I said and kissed them both. 

"Did you think of names yet?" Dillion asked and we smiled. 

"Ava Harper and Mia Olivia for the girls Zeke is carrying,  Savannah Leah and Bradley Nash for the ones Ian is carrying." Kaiden answered and the kids smiled. 

"Those are beautiful names." Shane said and cuddled up to Ryan. 

"Ok kids, you need to step out, it's time to bring your siblings into the world." The kids all got up and kissed my mates in labor and left the room. 

"Ok you can push whenever you feel your next contraction Zeke." Jaylen said to Zeke, Dr. Scott was with Ian and told him the same thing. 

A little while after much pushing, we welcomed Ava Harper Lancaster, Mia Olivia Lancaster, Savannah Leah Lancaster, and Bradley Nash Lancaster into the world. 

They’re all so precious. I guess now is a good time to plan a mini welcome party for all of my babies. 

“We went to several stores, we have half of what you asked for.” Shane said.
