To Parker,

06. I wish you knew what your words meant to me.

Hayley's POV

"So how do you want to go down? I got many options, fist to nose, face to sink or the door? Whatever you want, darling, but I'm ready to go, now." Vanessa scrambled across the floor, her legs carrying her to the end of the bathroom.

"What, Vanessa? You look like you've seen a ghost." I muttered dryly as I closed the space between us. My face hovered above hers and I deliberately chose to breathe down onto her and make this as uncomfortable as I could.

The rage that was fuelling within me was scratching against my flesh to be set free. "Go to hell, Hayley!" The crocodile tears which were once flowing down her cheeks like a waterfall seized to exist as she shoved me backwards.

Once again, the room seemed to move around me as I slipped on the water dripping from the overflown sink onto the tiled floor. As I went down, my hand which fished for something to grip onto slammed onto the sink's head, possibly fracturing my hand.

Vanessa who stood over my splayed body lunged downwards, her face contorting into an animalistic rage. However, once again I proved to be faster than her. Despite the pain shooting through my hand I enclosed my palm around her leg and tugged her forward, sending her careening into the tiled floor.

"DID NO ONE EVER WARN YOU ABOUT FIGHTING THE KID WITH ANGER ISSUES, VANESSA!?" I loved saying her name, I loved the rage it built within me, it compelled me to act without hesitation because if I did I wouldn't be here at this moment.

She squirmed on the floor like a fish beating against dry land which gave me the opportunity to climb onto her without much of a fight. I grabbed a fist full of her hair and yanked it back so that her eyes met mine, burning with fury. "How would you like to die?"

Without answering, she flickered her eyes to my limp arm and grabbed it quickly, pressing down onto my injured hand. An eruption of pain ruptured through my arm, crippling me long enough to give Vanessa the upper hand.

She wiggled from underneath my grip and climbed onto her feet, her face boiling with vexation. "Eat my shit you bitch!" She screamed as she lowered her foot down onto my arm with as much force as her fragile body could produce.

I yanked my arm free from under her leg and cried out in pain, cradling it to my chest which rose and fell rapidly courtesy of my laborious breathing. The pain blinded me for a second, leaving only my hearing senses at my disposal. The bell chimed loudly outside, alarming Vanessa who shuffled around the bathroom aimlessly.

Hopelessly, she fled, leaving me on the floor, steaming with fury. "Not today, Vanessa. I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" A rush of adrenaline coursed through my body, giving me the strength to hoist myself onto my feet and out into the already crowded hallway.

"VANESSA!" My wails were loud, a growl that halted all footsteps around me, revealing Vanessa's hurried steps down the hallway not too far from me. Ignoring the curious gazes that penetrated through my head, I dashed down the hallway, shoving people out of my way.

I was fast, ridiculously fast, running at a speed I never thought was possible for such a frail girl like I was. When I closed in on her, I reached a hand out, grabbing her hoody. She screamed when I tugged her backwards into my chest.
