I feel sick. I feel like I'm going to hurl.

"I brought you into this world. Wala kang kwenta kung di kita mapapakinabangan."

Shit...it's getting harder for me to breath.

"Creatures like you exist for the sake of people like me to gain power."

My chest... hurts. I can't breath. Someone...

"You will never escape me. You belong to me. You, your mother, and your power...they all belong to me."

I can't breath...help...help me...

"Selene!"

I felt like I snapped back to reality. I look at Hyron whose face is inches away from me. He was holding me by my arms as if trying to keep me from falling on my knees.

"Are...Are you okay? You're sweating and trembling. Are you sick? Tell me, is there something wrong?" Nag-aalalang tanong niya habang kinakapa ang noo at leeg ko. He looks distressed. "You were gasping for air. Does your chest hurt? Can you breath?"

I didn't realize I was holding my breath so I let out a sigh as if letting all the air stuck in my lungs out. "I'm...I'm fine..." We're back inside the manor. Did he bring me back here?

"Damn it! Stop lying to me and just tell me if you're not!" I flinched when he raise his voice at me as his grip on my arms tightened.

"Oww..." I winced.

It seems that he noticed that so his expression softened. "No...that's not what I..."

"I'm alright, I think I just need to rest." I said as I remove his hands from my arm.

"Did I hurt you? I'm sorry. Let me see if------"

"Just leave, Hyron. Go back to the party, they're probably waiting for you there. I'll just go back to my room and-----"

"Selene, you know I can't do that. Not when you're like this. You know I care for you and I don't want you feeling like..." he kept on talking but I can't understand anything he's saying. My mind is hazy. I'm listening but I can't hear him. Something else is interefering with my senses. The ringing in my ears are getting louder and louder.

"You can't exist without me."

Ugh...there it is again.

I made sure to take my medicine this morning. So why...

"Your only purpose is to be useful to me, bra-"

"ENOUGH!" I was panting after I yelled that.

"Selene...?" Hyron looks confused and shock by how I'm acting. "Selene, tell me------"

"Damn! I said, shut up! Why do you care so much?! Leave me alone, can't you tell? I want to be alone!"

"I'm just trying to help-----"

"You're not helping, damn it! You're making it fucking worse! Just go! Leave!" I yelled as I push him away from me. "You're not getting anything from doing any of this shit! I will never love you and I will never care about you so cut your bullshit and fucking leave me alone!"
