Yeah, it's 9 in the morning and I'm in a rush.

I thought after what I said, that man will finally stop. But no, he still come to the lab. Everyday. Trying to 'win my heart'. His words, not mine. What's even worse is the fact that that bastard, Nat, is backing him up.

Speaking of Nat, where the hell is that girl? She's the one who told me that I'm being summoned. And now she just disappeared. Seriosuly, that girl...

Ting!

The elevator door finally opened and I stepped out. I'm on the third floor of the Amane Building. There are only two rooms here. The headmaster's office and the library.

I saw Zack leaning by the wall beside the door of his library. "Zack," I called him. He turned to me with his cigarette in between his teeth and raised a brow. Atitude. "Any idea why?" I asked and point my thumb to the headmaster's office.

He just shrugged before turning around and opening the door to his library and going inside. Ang galing talaga kausap yung gagambang yun. He's been acting weird this past few days. I remember Amethyst asking for his help to recover the succubus' memories but he refused, saying shit like...

"He's not meant to be introduced in the story yet."

We don't know what he mean----No, we never know what he mean, until it finally happens. We don't even remember meeting him. We just know him.

I just didn't mind Zack and went inside the office. It's been a while since I've been here.

"Selene!"

"Dad," I called the man with bandages covering one of his eye. Meet our foster father—Chaos, the headmaster of Horizon Academy. Yeah, we're all adopted by this guy; all members of CODE:NYX. You must be wondering why this guy is here when he is believed to be away. He is away. What we're seeing right now is just a piece of him—an alter ego. This is one of the many abilities of his kind. Guess, who else can do this.

"Come here and give Chaos a squeeze," he's still as childish as ever. But even so...I walked towards him and hugged him. "Aww...I really miss my children. I wish I can be here for real."

We finally let go of each other. "How have you been, dad? You seem to be getting thinner. Nakakakain ka ba ng maayos?" I asked.

"Ho ho ho~ It sure is nice to have your daughter worry about you. It gives me energy. Bakit nga ba isa lang sa pito kong anak ang lumaki ng maayos?" He said.

"That's not true, dad." I disagreed. "I'm sure the others cares for you the same."

"Yeah, let's believe that." He laughed.

"So, why did you call me here for?" I asked as I sat down on the sofa. The books and papers that were scattered there immediately scoot over when I sat down. Yes, these things can move on their own. Everything inside this office is alive. From the shelves to the books to the windows, all of them are alive. Which is why it's always so messy here. They just don't move when students come in here or staffs. Yeah, we're really pulling some Toy Story shit right here.

"I have a mission for you, sweetheart." He said as a teacup riding a saucer hop towards me. I took it and drink the tea inside it.

"Mission? You rarely give me a mission dad," I asked while as I put the teacup back on the table. My role in the team is 'doctor'. It was clear from the very start. Whenever someone is hurt, I'll be there to aid them. To put me in a mission like this...it's quite strange.
