Time: 07:30
Location: Horizon Academy
Hyron Dominus Rye Claude

I did not prepare too much of a luggage since I'll be going back home. I knew that this institution won't want to cause a stir within the noble society where even just a slight flinch are overanalyzed. Not to mention how the noble society affects 45% of this country. However, I have doubts about this excursion. Knowing how they are able to cover up an earl's disappearance, the one pulling the strings behind Horizon Academy might be more threatening than I initially thought.

The existence of this school itself was a mystery. As far as I am concerned, I haven't heard a word about an advanced institution located in a isolated place within social gatherings. There's a high chance that the noble society is unaware of its existence. But it's also probable that Horizon Academy have connections among the noble society which maintains its phantom-like existence. It's not an impossibility.

I have received pointers from Ethan Dashiell.

I am not someone to be ordered around. I am an earl-son of one the most influetial personality within the noble society. However, I must admit that Ethan Dashiell's grasp of the situation is far more advanced than mine. Since my time is always preoccupied, I had no time to investigate. Furthermore, he is quite exceptional in strategizing-a skill that often cause me unease. Ethan Dasiell is a madman.

As per his instructions, in this excursion, I have 3 aims: One, I must find out the location of this academy. Two, I must find a way to communicate our current situation to the outside. And lastly, I must observe how they are able to cover up our absences.

That may be the aim Ethan Dashiell has prepared for me. However, I do have my own personal aims. The ones I obviously would prioritize.

People may call it selfish but I do not mind. It's normal to be selfish especially if the reason for your selfishness is something you have decided to devote your whole life to.

Lastly, I wore my coat and fixed my tie. I made sure not a crease is to be seen. I can not afford to look even slightly unfavorable. I must look dashing. I already have the looks anyway.

I have made a promise to myself the moment I saw her in the clinic. I was waiting for this moment my whole life. Us meeting was a gift from fate. Which is why, I've decided that I am not leaving this academy without Selene Rosefield.

I have arrived at Gate 1 quite earlier than the agreed time. However, she has still arrived earlier than me. She's standing by the gate, beside a parked black car. She's wearing semiformal clothes and her hair is don in a half ponytail. She looks neater than usual as she is to meet a Duke. She looks beautiful either way.

"Let me get one thing straight," she said the moment I stand before her. She pointed her forefinger at me and squint her eyes at me. "This is not what you think it is. I'm her as a guest of the Claude Manor."

"Yes, that's right." I said with a smile. It may not be what I think it is. But that won't stop me from thinking that it is what I think it is.

"Hindi tayo magtatanan!" She made it clear.

I blinked. "Such wild thoughts," I teased. "I wasn't thinking of such things."

"Talaga lang?" She raised a brow.

"Of course," I answered. "I was thinking more of a getaway honeymoo-----"

"What the fuck?!"

I only chuckled at her response. How I love it when her eyebrow twitch in pure annoyance. It's very amusing.
