"Let's first have a proper introduction," Ethan said.
Nandito kami ngayon sa Corporate Hall. I've been keen about what Ethan's been doing these past few days. Skipping classes to explore the school. I know that's what he's doing. I've only deduced it. And I know he's not the only one who's been doing that. Zen's been disappearing in the middle of class as well.
Ethan has given me and the princess an order to lay low while the others were given orders to investigate. I'm referring to those whose been admitted to the CODES and to Hyron who had contact with Selene. I trust the way he does things. And frankly, I see this coming-us face to face with CODE:NYX.
I've been connecting dots all this time. Although, I doubt if anyone had noticed.
"I'll start," Ethan continued. "My name is Ethan Dashiell, an ordinary human. I'm from Vrent University and recently just transferred to Horizon Academy. Very single." He grinned at the leader of CODE:NYX
One of the things, I've been noticing is the relationship Ethan had established with the leader of CODE:NYX. Ethan really has his ways around these kinds of situations.
"Unnecessary information," the leader of CODE:NYX coldly brushed off his advances. "Next?"
"A-Ahh I'm Shane Catherine Freya, 18 years old, Demi-human. It's complicated." Sunod naman ni Shane. Hindi ako informed na kailangan pala ng relationship status.
"Hyron Dominus Rye, earl of Claude Dukedom, 18 years old, Hydrokinetic. Available for gorgeous hot-headed chemists only." He even winked at Selene who only rolled her eyes.
"Yael Cortez, anak ng tatay ko, 18 taong gulang, Pyrokinetic. Hindi ako mahilig sa sadista," pakilala naman ni Yael.
"I'm going to pretend that I didn't hear that," rinig kong sabi ni Amethyst.
"My name is Merina Lilienne Amelia Neris, 4th princess of Ayanis." Medyo nag-alangan pa ang prinsesa bago muling ituloy ang sasabihin. "I'm 18 years old and engaged to the head knight of Ayanis-Rayver Delphine." I see...Royalties...
Sunod naman na nagpakilala si Zen.
"Zen."
Naghintay pa kami kung may isusunod pa siya. Pero hindi na siya nagsalita. Ako na pala ang sunod.
"M-My name Athena S-Steinfield, I'm 18 years old, human." Maikling pakilala ko.
Nagtaas ng kamay si Natasha. "Single ka daw? Tanong ng kuya k----"
"A-Asha!" Agad naman siyang pinigilan ni Nathaniel na pulang-pula ang mukha.
Naramdaman kong siniko ako ni Shane ng konti at ngumiti ng may halong malisya. "Single ka daw ba?" Tanong niya pa sa akin.
Napayuko na lang ako at napatakip na lang ng mukha kong namumula na sa hiya. Sumulyap ako sa direksyon nila Nathaniel. Nakatingin din pala siya sa akin kaya nagtama ang tingin namin. Una akong umiwas.
Focus, Athena! Focus!
"Your turn," Ethan said and gestured to the leader of CODE:NYX.
