"None of your business," he said and grabbed Selene by the arm before pulling her away from us before they disappear from the crowd. Hyron was about to stand up to follow them but I immediately stopped him.

"You better have a reasonable reason, Dashi----"

"Calm it down, loverboy. You don't see Selene complaining about it. They're probably close enough to treat each other that way," I deduced. He stared at me for a moment as if weighing what I said in his mind before sighing. "Still piss me off," he said but remained in his seat.

"Let it go," I laughingly adviced him. While Hyron is still cursing Ace under his breath, I took a glance at the bat. And what do you know, he's holding the cupcake that Natasha offered me.

"Why is that with you?" I asked.

"Diba yan yung cupcake ni Natasha kanina?" Shane said.

"Yeah, she gave it to me."

"And you accepted it?"

"She put it in my hand."

"And you didn't do anything?"

"Do anything...like what?" This bat cluelessly asked. Ugh! This feaking bat is sharp as a fucking marble.

I thought, I already made it clear that the cupcake might be poisonous. So I just watch this bat as he turn to look at the cupcake and without even a fucking word, took a bite out of the cupcake.

He continued chewing as we all watch him in horror. "A-Are you okay?" The princess asked in concern.

"Hmmm...a bit salty," what the fuck? We continued watching him but we realize sooner that he's alright. I guess the cupcake is actually harmless. Tumayo na kami sa mga upuan namin ng mapansin namin ng kumukuha na ang lahat ng makakain.

While I was at the buffet table, napansin ko kasama sa mga pagkain yung cupcake na binigay ni Natasha kay Zen. I saw some students also getting one so I came to the conclusion it is really just a cupcake. I also went in to get one cause I'm a curious motherfucker.

"Ow!" I think I bit something hard. I tried to feel it with my tongue and took it out of my mouth.

But wait, the bat finished the whole thing.

"Hey, bat!" I called him. Lumapit naman siya sa akin, "What was inside your cupcake?" I asked.

"Inside...my what?"

"The cupcake...it has things in them."

"Oh...so that's why it's a bit salty."

I can feel my brain short-circuiting.

"Hmm...I think I swallowed it but it tastes like a dice."
