Yuki woke up with a gasp on a bed she didn’t know, she sat up and looked around the room shocked on where she was but she flinched in pain grabbing her shoulder.
“Where am I?” Yuki muttered but she saw she was bandaged so she slowly got up walking out of the room and opening the door she peaked out and her eyes widened seeing she was in Maka’s and Soul’s apartment, not knowing that Maka had moved all her stuff out, and moved all of Yuki’s stuff in. “Why am I here?” Yuki whispered looking around but she flinched once more grabbing her shoulder right over the star on her shoulder.
“Maka moved out, you guys kinda traded places.” Soul said from in the kitchen making Yuki flinch but she slowly walked into the kitchen and looked at him. “Lord Death showed up and reset my soul count to zero, along with Izaya’s since we were switching partners.” Soul said making Yuki flinch and she sat down across from him. “We defeated the witch.” Soul added making Yuki’s eyes widen and she stood up putting her hands on the table.
“Really!?” Yuki asked in shock looking at him as she stood up but then she flinched and fell back down in her chair. “Ow.” She mumbled and Soul looked at her for a second, his look on his face not giving anything away about how he felt at the moment. “Are you sad?” Yuki asked but Soul only shook his head making Yuki looked down and away from him since he was sitting there with his arms crossed.
“Do you remember anything else?” Soul asked looking at her then he leaned forward. “You seem to remember meeting me.” Soul added but Yuki looked down then she brought her hands up to her head and rubbed her forehead.
“I was hoping if she was gone I would remember more. Beanie Evans. I remember that. I don’t remember anything else.” Yuki mumbled rubbing her head then she rested her head against her hands propping her arms up on the table and she yawned. “So, we are partners now? Are you and Maka okay?” Yuki asked looking up at him from the table.
“Yeah, we are all friends still. This should just work out better though.” Soul said getting up and he left the room leaving Yuki there at the table. Yuki watched him go then she rubbed her shoulder looking at the bandages on her. She slowly pushed herself up and she went into the bathroom closing the door after her. Yuki looked up in the mirror and saw only a single bandage on her face so she slowly reached up touching it but flinched in pain.
“Ow…” She mumbled but then looked at the bandages on her arms, Yuki slowly got up and saw she had been in Soul’s room so she walked towards where Maka’s room had been and saw boxes of her stuff. Yuki walked in looking at the boxes and she opened one looking threw the clothes inside of it then she pulled out a jacket and slipped it on over her shoulders.
“Hey guys!” Yuki flinched looking outside of her room hearing a yell, her brother maybe? Yuki slowly zipped up the jacket then walked out of the room and she walked into the living room and saw Blackstar with Tsubaki.
“Oh Yuki! Thank goodness you are up and okay.” Tsubaki said with a smile making Yuki lookup at her then smile slightly, but Blackstar jumped over next to his sister.
“Of course she is! She’s my sister!” Blackstar said then stuffed his hands in his pockets and laughed. “I plan on surpassing god one day so that has to make her strong!” Blackstar added with a smile and he wrapped his arm around Yuki’s shoulders. Yuki looked at him for a moment then she smiled slightly.
“Hey, you guys are here early.” Soul said making Yuki flinch as he walked out wearing something completely different. “Sorry Yuki I forgot to tell you, we are all playing Basketball since School’s been cancelled the past week.” Soul said with a smile on his face now and Yuki flinched as Soul threw her the basketball and she caught it only because of her reflexes.
