Chapter 8.

(Izaya's Weapon Form)

Yuki gasped as Sid jumped in front of Blackstar stopping him right before he hit Professor Stein, then while Sid and Blackstar were both distracted Stein put his hands to Blackstar’s chest.

“Soul M-” Stein started to say charging up his Soul Wavelength but Yuki ran forward and she shoved Professor Stein back.

“Stop it!” Yuki yelled breathing hard making Sid and Stein both flinch but Yuki stood in front of Blackstar and she threw her arm out to the side. “He’s going to react badly and it’s your own damn fault he is! Don’t treat him like he’s the bad guy!” Yuki yelled at Professor Stein and Sid making them look at each other then Sid sighed standing up and he rubbed the back of his head with a sigh.

“This was before I died, and I do regret the decision I made at the time.” Sid started but before he could finish Professor Stein put his hands against Yuki’s stomach.

“Soul Menace.” Professor Stein said and everyone gasped as Yuki got hit with it then she was about to flying back in the sand but Blackstar caught her. He looked up at Professor Stein about to attack him but Yuki reached up and she grabbed his arm making him flinch and look down at her. “Huh? Yuki you aren’t out?” Professor Stein asked looking at Yuki and he tilted his head to the side. Yuki slowly sat up in Blackstar’s arms still grabbing his arm then she pushed herself forward.

“Yuki! Stop!” Izaya yelled about to run forward but Blackstar turned his head glaring at him daring him to step forward another step. Yuki slowly pushed herself to her feet and she stepped forward.

“I’m used to that by now.” Yuki muttered then putting her arms out to the sides Two bracers appeared around her wrists and two blades came out of them making everyone gasp but Stein who didn’t even seemed slightly shocked. “Stein!” Yuki yelled running at him stabbing towards him but Stein just dodged out of the way.

“Soul Menace.” Stein said hitting her back as she attacked, Yuki got hit by it but then she turned and she sliced his cheek slightly open.

“You lied to me! For 7 years! You didn’t even try to tell me what really happened! Liar!” Yuki yelled then jumping back she aimed the bracers at Stein shooting them threw the air Stein dodged them, one of them only grazing his shoulder.

“Yuki, if you’re going to fight me, you’re gonna have to not hold back.” Stein said and he was forward in a second. “Soul M-” Stein was cut off as Yuki turned around and she grabbed his wrist of the hand he had aimed at her crushing it in her hand.

“Soul Menace!” Yuki yelled hitting him first and she knocked him back. Yuki watched him and as he landed the bracers around her wrists disappeared and she walked forward towards him. Stein rubbed his head slowly getting up but Yuki grabbed him by his lab coat. “Why did you lie to everyone! I saw it! SnowStar! Blackstar was told she was dead! So why would you lie to him and make him feel like he lost his only family left! I know Starclan was bad and everything but we aren’t bad! So why would you lie to him and take someone away that he cared about! Plus everyone!” Yuki started then she got close to his face. “They cared about her too! Maka! Soul! Everyone!” Yuki yelled making Soul flinch but Yuki then dropped his lab coat. “Well she isn’t dead. She didn’t die like you thought she would.” Yuki said then she turned away from the others and she walked towards Death City leaving the others all shocked.

“Did she just use two weapons?” Maka asked looking at Sid. Sid softly sighed rubbing the back of his head as Stein started to get up off the ground.

“Yeah, when we went into that town, I gave her those in case anything happened. When the witch hit her with it’s magic, well, the bracers became a part of her with a little bit of weapons blood. When she ‘woke’ up she could make them disappear and appear on command, and they appeared when she was scared. A lot of things happened to her that a different after that Witch.” Sid said but Blackstar walked forward over to Professor Stein and he pulled him up off the ground. Blackstar grabbed him about to punch him but he only sighed then let go of him and heading towards Death city.

“This isn’t good.” Stein muttered to the others. Izaya sighed rubbing the back of his head and he nodded in agreement.

“Yeah, this could mess with her head right?” Izaya asked making the others look at him confused. “Hey, I just found out about this like you guys, but from what I hear, if all of that is true then finding out about the truth and her trying to remember it herself could mess with her head.” Izaya said, Tsubaki’s eyes widened along with Soul’s and Maka’s but Kid, Liz, and Patty just all stayed calm.

Yuki walked threw Death City looking down as she walked her hair waving side to side as she walked. Yuki ran a hand threw her hair, her hands trembling violently as she walked and her eyes were red and watery like she was trying her best to not start crying.

“Yuki.” Blackstar said making Yuki turn around but Blackstar walked over to her and he hugged his arms around her making Yuki flinch. “I don’t care if you don’t remember. I’m just happy you are okay.” Blackstar said, Yuki slowly grabbed onto him hugging him back but then her eyes closed and she felt limp in his grip. Blackstar opened his mouth about to ask if she was okay but he saw she was passed out so he sighed picking her up and heading to his apartment. Opening the door and carrying her in he shut it behind him. Blackstar laid her down on the couch and he grabbed a blanket putting it over her. Blackstar went into the kitchen grabbing a cup of water and he put it on the table before sitting against the couch on the ground in front of it and he rested his arms on his knees which were half up then he rested his head against his arms. After a while Yuki sat up breathing hard but seeing the blanket on her she looked around and seeing Blackstar leaning against the couch right next to her she sigh and laid back down, putting her hands over her eyes.

“So you two are here. Yuki you okay?” Tsubaki asked coming in but she went quiet seeing Blackstar was asleep. Yuki lifted her hands and looked at Tsubaki.

“Yeah, I passed out and I’m guessing he carried me here.” Yuki said as Tsubaki shut the door behind her then walked over next to her. Yuki sat up so Tsubaki could sit down. “Before you ask questions, I really don’t remember anything. I only found out for sure today, I… I saw the Starclan mark a week ago on that mission…” Yuki muttered closing her eyes tightly as she sat there on the couch. Tsubaki sat down next to her with a soft sigh.

“It’s fine. I’m just happy you are alive, Blackstar really does care about you, even if you don’t remember that.” Tsubaki said looking at Yuki, but Yuki was looking down at her hands. “So those weapons?” Tsubaki asked making Yuki look at her hands then she put them out in front of her putting her hands in fists. The bracers appeared and the two daggers came out of them. “Really matches the assassin name doesn’t it?” Tsubaki asked with a slight laugh but Yuki only nodded slightly and they disappeared once more. “Listen, don’t let it worry you too much okay? Even if you don’t remember, they do and that matters to them.” Tsubaki said wrapping an arm around my shoulder then she got up walking out of the room. Yuki watched her go but then Blackstar slowly moved his head up off his arm.

“Huh? Your awake?” Blackstar asked then yawned looking up at her. Yuki nodded so Blackstar got up and he sat down on the couch next to her. “Sorry… since you don’t remember, it must be weird for you.” Blackstar muttered looking at his hands. Yuki flinched looking at him realizing, that he was acting completely different, not like his usual loud and full of himself ways.

“Would Snowstar- I want you to be sulking like this though? No. I wouldn’t. I’m fine, I might’ve been gone for 7 years but I am fine and I’m here now. I might not remember but I know that you acting all sad and quiet is not like you. I might only remember you from this past week and a half but…” Yuki started but Blackstar looked up at her in shock then he jumped up and hugged her making Yuki flinch.

“Thank you… Snow- Yuki.” Blackstar said hugging her then he let go of her and pushed himself up. “I promise I won’t let anything like that happen again. I just hope you remember.” Blackstar said with a smile, making Yuki nod and Blackstar headed into the kitchen after Tsubaki leaving Yuki sit there with the blanket half over her. Yuki’s eyes widened and her pupils slowly disappeared and her eyes turned just dark blue and she fell back on the couch and her whole body went numb and non moving.
